NoSup4U 0
Since 13 started one for Niagara, I thought I'd do the same for Foxwoods. World poker finals, Oct 22nd through Nov 13th, with the WPT $10K event starting on Nov 8th.Here is a link to the schedule:http://www.foxwoods.com/OurWonders/Gaming/Poker/WPF/WPF.aspxI'll be there from the 8th through the 12th just playing cash games, not the tourney. Post up if you're coming. I'll update this first post with the list of players I know about as they post so its easy to keep track.Confirmed:prtypsux (JC)ghostloveAdam GDmsTipsCardcore (Seth)Nutzbuster (Scott)No NeckLooshle (Justin)Poppinfresh (Jeet)Samoleus (Niman)Gilbertology (Josh)MePossibles:Steve7Stud (Steve)MyPlayIsRABMark

Hotel is the more important thing though. Most of Foxwoods was sold out a couple weeks ago, only the really expensive rooms were available. I'm staying in a little bed and breakfast about 1/3 mile away, but right next to the Two Towers or whatever its called. (part of the foxwoods hotel). It has a shuttle over to the main casino.Mark

looshle 6
Hartford is NOT closer than Providence. It may be distance-wise, which I doubt, but Prov -Foxwoods is one highway for about 80% of the trip. Trust me on this guys

gilbertology 0
I didn't see any direct flights there so if I go I guess I'll drive and speed so it only takes 7 hours. Foxwoods looks like it's right off I-95 so I should have an easy time finding it. I didn't see any rooms available at the foxwoods website tho, does anyone know of hotels/places to sleep that are close to the casino?

Adam_g 0
Providence Airport isn't in Providence it's in Warwick which is about 10-15 mins closer to foxwoods than Providence. Flights to TF Green(providence airport) are usually more expensive tho. Driving time is Def. less from TF Green than Hartford. If anyone needs a ride from TF Green, I may be able to help, I live fairly close to the airport. And will be at foxwoods on and off during the wpt.
GetSprung 0
TF Green>Hartford AINEC. Take 95 S. to the nice sign that says Foxwoods. Can't be any easier. 45 min. is probably accurate, it's only an hour and 15 from South of Boston and from my house to TF Green is like 30 min. Meh.
pnltbx20 0
http://www.hilltopinnandsuites.com/mnav_attractions.htmYou might want to check this place out. I stayed there once. The rates are reasonable and it's about 5 minute drive from the casino on the same road.
