K bundy...you're the only other one in here anyways...I'm seriously close to quitting. I'm having the worst downswing ever. I can't hold up when I'm ahead, I can't catch outs when I'm drawing, flopping quads isn't any good...I don't know what more I can do. Look at this draw...and it doesn't get there....I'm under $300 at this point and don't quite know if I should bother. If not for rakeback, I'd have lost ALL hope, but I'm thinking about taking the rest of the month off so that I can get some decent $ to play with again in October.Full Tilt PokerPot Limit Omaha Ring gameBlinds: $0.10/$0.254 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $28Button: $49.65Hero: $25.25BB: $24.30Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is SB with 7 :) 4 :D 6 :D 9 :club: UTG calls, Button calls, Hero calls, BB checks.Flop: 5 :icon_dance: 8 :D 3 :) ($1, 4 players)Hero bets $1, BB calls, UTG raises to $5, Button folds, Hero raises to $18, BB folds, UTG raises all-in $27.75, Hero calls all-in $8.Uncalled bets: $1.75 returned to UTG.Turn: K :D ($29, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $54)River: T :) ($29, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $54)Results:Final pot: $54

I know how it feels mate , seriously. I have played 20k hands this month and i am down for the month (-128$ and -0.80BB/100 to be precise.). Actually i both run bad and played bad this month so far.But also you know how it works. All you can do is get your money in good. Sometimes it holds up , sometimes don't , sometimes it hits , sometimes misses. Once you get your money in good , rest is totally out of our hands. It smooths out on the long run. But the long run can be very long. That's what bankroll managament is for. Who needs bankroll management while running good. Bankroll management is all about bad days , unlucky sessions , missing draws , not holding nuts. That's why it is the most important thing in poker. It keeps you in the action. It gives you enough time and funds to win your losses back after a bad run.Being honest to yourself is very important too. I am usually good with odds and equities but i always have odds calculator open while playing and i check the odds after every big pot i win or i lose. Most of the time i am not that of a big favourite that i thought i was. Seeing your chance being only %60 when the money went it doesn't tilt you much after you lose. After all you will win only 6 hands out of every 10 hands. I say , stick to bankroll management rules , play good and you will be fine.

Oh for sure -- I always have PT up and just check the hand replay sometimes with the odds calculator. There've been a couple times where I was ready to post a hand in the bbv thread and realized I wasn't as big a favourite as I thought. I also have to say, my downswing is about 60/40 as well, between beats and poor play. I'm almost at the point of having to redeposit to be properly rolled for $25 again. Net since Aug 1, I'm only down about $50, and have $350 in rakeback coming this month, but I'm not at all comfortable for $25 right now. We'll see how the last week of the month goes.

Think I'm actually gonna play some LHE for a while for the last little bit. Down to ~200 or so, gonna start at .25/.50 and put some hands in there for a week and see how things go. When I get my rakeback for this month, I'll either move up to .50/1 if things are going well or come back to omaha if they're not.

I see a lot of these hand histories are on FTP, but I have been playing a ton (well, what I consider a ton) of $.25/$.50 and $.50/$1 PLO on PS. I have been laying some sick beats on folks so will everyone at least give me credit by name instead of "villian" if I do it to them? biglebowski1 on PS. I promise to do the same.

Nah, I went from half decently rolled to broke in about three weeks. My own fault. Played out of my roll a couple times, tilted some off, and ran like crap on top of it.I'll be out for the next couple weeks and get back in to it when my Sept. rakeback comes in early next month. I deposited $200 on Aug1, and am now essentially broke, but have $350 coming for rakeback. I'll probably put in another 200 or 250 and FORCE myself to play 25 and only 25 next month and see how it goes.

I can post some hands from my day at LHE if it makes you feel any better bud? lolIt's much less swingy.
lol i don't think zach would like that. He already have bad memories with LHE. And LHE hands in Omaha forum? He would be pissed. Please do it.

Due to a greatly understanding woman in my life and an interim deposit to get me back til my rakeback cheque comes in, I'll be back at it later this afternoon, and plan to be kicking ass and taking names.

What a crazy day. I played literally 1700 hands and broke DEAD even (graph actually shows -$50, but I can't figure out how to load that hand right above in to my PT, even though I have the HH emailed from support -- can anyone help out?) then I logged on for a few mins to try and get 8 more FTP points to get gold ironman for the month, and sure as sh*t, don't I go on a 150 hand heater...this game is nuts.0926yt7.jpgLike I say, someone help me out, there's ONE friggin hand I can't input, but it's a 100BB profit hand, and that would help out the ol' graph.
