I'd lead the flop. Against opponents that bluff a lot, I'd check the river as played. Against unknowns, I think I might shove and hope for the hero call from QJ. I'm getting stacked here by a better T. We're not deep enough to get off this, imho.

What is this going to be a trend now? Way to be a trend center Acid. I certainly shove if I'm hero. If I'm beat, I'm beat.

i would bet around $90, no reason why the set isn't good with no raise on the turn...if the MP slowplayed J-9 or LP called the turn with a better 10, then that's nice for themand i agree with fopkins about the flop play, check-raising is often a better play than just betting out because you can represent a made hand and possibly don't have to worry about hitting your draw, and if everyone checks, then you're getting a free shot at a trillion outs

Being a trend setter is better than being a center where trends are sold.In no way did I start this by the way. The fact is, that hand with the AA was just much more interesting from that point of view than it was from my T9 point of view, so that's why it got posted like it did.

Update:River - Hero Checks, MP bets $120, LP Folds, Hero Thinks and calls after a long time. I was actually the player in MP w/10h8h. The Hero in this hand was a friend of mine. He was upset after calling off his money on the end... we talked about the hand for awhile and disagreed on the river action... The way the hand played out, I argued it would be very difficult to get away from it.As for my thought process about just calling on the turn with all the draws out there on the turn... I know both LP players in the hand are both aggressive players and because we were very deep, in this hand I decided to play the hand a lot slower than normal hoping to trap and win a big pot.

Eh, must not browse 2+2 much? I see it way too much over there. This is a bet/call or shove with our shortish stack but I like leading flop and trying to get some money in there with our big draw.
