  1. I guess you don't know much about DN? If he reads that you will be surprised that he may be some steps ahead of you. Big buy in poker isn't at all like the other stuff and those players aren't in it by luck or from being to crazy.
  2. Sounds to me you could use some self confidence, and goal setting. The poker mags are full of stuff on bad cards and they state that self confidence is the cure. I use goal setting this keeps on course to fulfilling your dreams, if you went into it with" maybe if I earn enough" on your mine and that is what happened I would not blame the cards or the game . Also in my opion and the opion of many grinders rounders etc. no-limit is the game to live by not limit which is a card game just like rummy no more. The odds also of poker leave you with what your bankroll is ;not, one group of bad m
  3. I think you had made your own negative implied odds , and just had to make it a pot to big to fold and then wish for the best hand, you stated that you knew the other what infromation you had on him dictated a fold, tournys are a game of lasting so staying in the game is more important then the lost profits of a to tight fold. Also being wrong and folding could help you later those kind of mistakes work to make you a more diffcult player to read they will think that is your error and then will show how they really play those hands not being afraid to play openly. In cash games calling the bl
  4. I think goal setting is a big plus in poker, now I would say that for what I know your goal my be to small which comes from the fear of swings which on top of that may be why you are afraid to lay down the 74. I use some Web sites which one is all about goals and my play is growing fast, you should add what you want to change about your game also to the money limit; the last two post you have made about your cash games both started with a big dive you may not know how or why yet but that changed would be a big plus, but on another side I don't like those props either that is totally not going
  5. I saw he came in I think second last out at the Mirage, he was wearing a very expensive suit and looking like the EU government,He is a perfect example of How not to get beat for being to tight.
  6. I bought that e-book last year before I knew anything about poker, it is great if you are new to the Texas Holdem NL wave and you can get the newsletter free which is I think top notch for a free letter. The thing is all about NL only and not bad, he is a real rounder and that name is only a pen name, He was in one of the Wsop events this year and cashed out, He is a young dude around 25 and the book is aimed at underground sells His basic strat. is loose aggessive and he goes into alot on how to beat loose aggresive players on the web and how to reduce bad beats there he states that bad bea
  7. He didn't mean to play ball anyway. What if a dead drunk or your old man did some stunt, if they didn't know who he was setting there they should lose," know who your opponets IS" readmachince
  8. ? I lived in Santa Monica for 12 years, go back next week after about 2, lived out on HYH way 0ne. Also the replies then were out to fast and I got out of order.
  9. Now from pokers final hour? " The odds even out" you are suppose to give them players a hand and tell them to keep doing it but bet more. You didn't lose only ran out of time.
  10. Sorry about the spelling slightly a retart allows ya to kill now, but to to bd not my 10 7 man Hey this is a long game I just think swell and stay tuned I'll give in a free pack, I got at the Wsop if you win with an allin
  11. Sure maybe you think you can beat him but all them heads up matches are just in the way man, I bet if he cleared out of that he would not be a little down about unknows but so am I and I never been in a big event yet. I play on the web but that isn't where the new power is its the mind and some fool TV computer only keeps this near dead world afloat since if we all didn't have one the economy wouldn't be. I'll play ya big shot then maybe your mask will fall they don't have that many levels on the net.
  12. To bad I just dropped that site anyone know what name he is using, AI lay them kind too, just got off Pokerstars and a 45 man can in third, those games are good that's the way to get yourself going all the newbies in the WPT is from the NET right on!
  13. I want to be a groupie too but I am already committed to the Led Zepplin, when Robert Plant played the LV Hilton the wynn must have shut down.
  14. I would post on this in a serious manner. First for poker playing to be of any value it has to logical, and this mentioned great player is only proving this; because alass he is lossing and to be lossing you would tend to go on a kind of tilted emotional reaction. Just as the author above was steamed about no money, as for the Wynn that is no poor mans haven and the limits ther only reflect the public skill average not the neededs of the players. I play in agame that has 1,2,2,4 blinds and only a 100d buyin but millionaires play in it also, they know how bad they are. Also casinos I have
  15. Thanks for the mention; bad comments make for a tougher player. But to bad you cann't read I hope your reading is that bad when I meet you at the table, I hope you think the same of me then... I have one tell My pockets are full.
  16. No I meant will its a form of speech , short for you need wiil power and control but seriously did the player who called feel any remorse? The shame must be incredable.
  17. Yea? what you don't know about this player better, if you know what he would be doing you can , win over him but why play such a bad hand, and how can odds help. I know one odd I read on a site it was that a face card is 2-1 to come up on the flop, bummer but that kind of call is fish y, my man; with only four players and some chips the long term odds as you mentioned mean over the long run not the time it take to keep alive until the money comes in so say the your calc, will have you a winner over all and refire for another round, them smal buyin jobs arre full of fools and you want no doubt
  18. Will wouldn't you think that he was to dumb to plan out that whole series of bets? I would, that is rare play to pull that on purpose. I would fold up sure but it could be your bankroll if you are to slim then you want to call more and thus win now, if you got a good pack at home you can fold up on the odds alone, but alway keep track of that thing cause if you want to know you got to get esp or do some testing science you might say. I call call call then think I am losing it goes hand in hand . You cann't afford to loose that chance so you spend to see what you don't see. bye
  19. To kool but what about a real photo you know, thiese stars are full of stuffing. And I hope that is the real you but royality is a fairy tale. Of course you are just hungry.
  20. To bad about the big Negs I see, but Limit right I suppose in NL them games don't happen. I'd be into that high of the high stuff but whats your bankroll; infinite right, whats that to play money Hey? I've seen plenty a yocal stack up many a grand a minute in play money. Thorp the author on Blackjack , claims money problems make for worst play so it could actually be easier up on those ranks, more or less the Generals say not much to really lose, sure if you staked the same proportion as the normal you could be in a different ballgame. Just like the big billionaire who has a 50 million do
  21. Try the city park? I like the little space where all the drunk homeys try to get shade. Enjoy Vegas the doctor in the emergency room told me its not a great place to live.
  22. You don't know the player so you should fold, really the play was to fold the raise on you, having second best is very possible and the raise is your only tell. If he is bluffing or betting with less he could be on a streak of draws and cause you a stiff, a high pair played under you is way more powerful ,AK isn't to good with more then one caller, and a 30d bet with only so little is to deep I would think. If I had more from wins I would maybe call if I had some info on the other player you don't want a rare hand to go empty. If you had enough to raise him there and fold if he reraises th
  23. Also if he is a very loose aggresive player why not wait for the big AA and drop the All-in on him? All you have to sense is if he has any luck for a draw right? I play poker stars test site and just enjoy the ride the mad men give me once they are so sure then I level them but poker an't meant to be played that way.
  24. The guest is me, what a c is I don't know? Where at by the by? I thought this might be on the Web .
  25. Why by the way raise with that hand, from the BB? Sure loosen up but thats a prime hand for a free ride? And folding after all them raises? Seeing his hand would have gave you at least some info for another time, I wouldn't have started with that hand you could save your money for a big raise from the BB with a Killer; I think the standard for those type of draws is cheapness maybe the nickels weren't anything to you.
