  2. 10-12 for 2 weeks, 2- 4 2weeks, rinse and repeat
  3. Come on pro, on your last thread you just said pacific is rigged. Get it together already, you're dragging this forum down.
  4. Your post game is way off tonite, pro. Take some time off and come back strong.
  5. how does Q4 off hold up against 9/10 hands that willingly put money int he pot?It holds up if you flop 2 pair, more often than not, but his comment about pot odds had nothing to do with his hand strength.
  6. So this kid rode over to his buddy's house, today. He and his buddy spent all day sittin atound his mom's basement smokin blunts and playin poker. The the one idiot sais to the other, "I bet my posts get flamed more than yours, haha."Idiot 2: "No way, man, I'm up to 30 flames a day."Idiot 1: "Watch this post, dude. I bet every reply gets flamed, haha."And here we are.Edit: This story may or may not be true.
  7. This whole post is a tribute to your screen name.
  8. If you raise to 3BBs, the big blind will fold more often than not. If you raise to 2 BBs, theyll call more often than not.
  9. Here's an idea: Quit playing limit poker, i.e. no foldem holdem. I hear so many limit players crying about people chasing em to the river, and its always multiple chasers with one of them sucking out. I personally don't like limit, but I'm trying to keep an open mind so I've decided to work on my limit skills. Yesterday I played a limit HE rebuy trny with 49 people entered and I took 3rd, woohoo! And I never had to rebuy, only did the double add on. Always double add on in a rebuy. Anyway, I know during that trny I said several times, "Limit poker sux!" So much for an open mind, lol, b
  10. Hi. Just skimmed thru your blog. Good luck, hope you meet your 5k goal. How many hours per week are you averaging playing, would you say? Thanks man, I probably play on the average 2 hours a day, but usually multi-tabling so that can equate to 6 - 10 table hours every day. I am right at the halfway mark on my $50 to $5000 goal. The hard part SHOULD be over which was grinding at the $0.25 tables. $2500 to go in 5 months should be doable. No problem, dna. I'll be following your blog, as you're adventure continues. If you won this MTT, would you consider your goal reached? The reason I asked

  12. I checked this out and it is f'in hilarious!! This guy goes off about Hachem not tipping the dealers. Here's a more direct link to it.http://wsop-dealer.kcpoker.net/
  13. No you can't.He bet 34 at a 16.50 pot, why would it be 300?
  14. Ya, I reread after I posted that and thought thats what you were trying, lol. I catch on eventually. Just wrapped up another 12 hr session, ugh.
  15. Not sure, but I think he meant he wants 9 people to have the option of moving all in, the more people with the option the better the odds he'll get action. If I get 2 all ins before me and I have AA, I call but I'm nervous. Three, I still call expecting to lose.OK, I'll help revive the thread, lol
  16. If he's more comfortable playing trnys, let him play them. They can be extremely profitable, open your mind a tad. BTW OP, if you like trnys more than cash games, grind out some SnGs as well, they can be a gold mine. And they make good final table practice after the first few levels.
  17. Good job and good luck. IMO you have enough to start playing $10 MTTs.

  19. If you bet 1/2 and get called, now the pot is 3 times ur stack size on the flop. If the caller pushes on a suspect board, say 1 over card that isnt an A, it is very tempting to call hoping he missed and he's trying to push you off the pot. After he pushes you all in, you're getting atleast 4 to 1 on your remaining chips. And if you fold, your on a short stack and limit what you can do after this hand. I don't like putting myself in these positions.
  20. When it's not whining and is posted as a joke for all forum members to laugh at the DONK or if you want...ME...Next time I'll add disclaimers.Alf, you may be under a donk attack right now.
  21. I did. Put the elephant in the ridge. haha
  22. In NL trny situations, the most important thing isnt aggression, its making the right decisions. Many times the right decision is aggression, other times it isn't. You're facing a big raise from a maniac who will more than likely race you with A10 or better, maybe even KQ. You're only a slight favorite against 2 overs, do you really want to race this early with TT? Not me. Folding here doesn't make sense to me either, because you do have a legitimate hand to play. It's still early, so if you have to fold the hand after your call, you still have enough chips to play, although you'll have
  23. I voted call. If I get reraised by the button or the blinds, i fold. But I make this call hoping it winds up hu against maniac, then fold on the flop if J or higher appears. Three cards less than J and I'm pushing all in, unless the board suited up and maniac pushes first. Apparently this isnt the popular opinion amongst the posters, but I do believe it is among the voters.
