I layed down pocket aces preflop because it was the first hand of the tournament and 3 people went all in in front of me.Post flop I layed down a nut-flush to a paired board.

He could have been multi tableling and hit the wrong button.I really don't see anything wrong with underage gambling, I first started playing poker online when I was 14.

I started playing poker online when I was 14 and lost $100, and that busted my bankroll, lol. But then I developed and had a bankroll of about $500 when I was about 15 and haven't went bust or lost a significant amount (comparatively to my bankroll) since then. -
I don't believe there are absolutely 100% neccesary to win but they will help a great great deal.

Sklansky's Limit Hold Em for Advanced Players
banker2005 replied to sigmund99's topic in General Poker Forum
I've read this one, his small stakes book, theory of poker and pretty much all of slanskys stuff and I would suggest reading this one, its not the best but it is for mid-limit 6/12 to 15/30 games is what it's intented for in my opinion, if you play lower, get his small stakes book. If you play higher, get this one anyway. -
I agree with you to a certain extent, I think a lot of the hype will be over, and maybe a decline in players, but I agree with Smash, there will still be plenty of easy games to clean up on.

I find it interesting that in most small states games, at least online, how unobservant most players are in the 1/2 or 3/6 games. Yesterday I was at a 3/6 NL Holdem table and sat down and for an hour all I did was post blinds, then I picked up AA some guy raises in front so I go ahead and reraise, he calls. The flop is AT2 rainbow. He bets the minimum and I reraise all-in, he calls and turns over KTo. This isn't a bad beat story either I raked in the pot. This guy was at the table when I sat down and never though about the fact that I haven't so much as limped in the last hour.I just wanted to

It depends on the poker site, in most card rooms though you are allowed to move all in at any time no matter how much you are actually raising the pot

A lot of you are saying that Annie should be there because she was successful at the World Series, but if thats the case, where's Juanda? He did better than anyone except Daniel at the WSOP this year.

Well on sites like PokerStars you can click on a player your playing with and jot down a few things for future reference
-
Well maybe, but only based on the fact that he won the WSOP main event, but Annie Duke definately should'nt be there
-
Why are you celebrating, I think Raymer is a good poker player, thats why he got that far in the tournament
