  1. I shove all in on the turn. He's either got the J or the boat. You are not going to be folding, and you might push out a flush draw.I could also see them sitting with TT or QQ here, possibly even AA. Of course you might just have a mega donkey too...looks like you did.Have to win with your good hands on mtts. Just shove.
  2. UTG has the nice problem of not knowing what anyone is doing.Honestly I call with any pair, KQ, JK, QJ perhaps. A7+, because from those chip stacks, most everyone is in the same boat you are in. Fish will fold to you, but a good player will see a chance to take people out - and if you win, no one will mess with you. You will call.Fold. Wait for the SB or BB. You get plenty of information not to mention you just might get a better hand than Q6 (good chance of it actually)
  3. yeah really.and for bigger money this is where PT/sharkscope comes in critically handy. Check this guy, if he loses money, call, if he makes money fold.thats how simple it is.
  4. 2 is usually a dead card, it does not help you any and most of the time it will be dominated (since it dominates nothing).Having live cards important, even AK vs 72o is 66% vs 33%.K2 vs KQ your in the 27%, 73% range.harrignton recommends calling with the top 20-30% of hands.K2 is not
  5. no.Is it Kris Benson's wife?no.and bring back the RedNeck avitar, Whoomprat!I'm pretty sure it's actually Fran Drescher. One of the best pics I've ever seen of her if it is. Her looks aren't bad, but boy is her voice annoying.hilarious!NO!This pic is a good pic of the chick.Much "classier" than mostShe is quite petite.Ok, so who is she? Let me ask you this, is she on the babefocus list? your not even giving out hints.
  6. my guess would be alicia rickter.early in SNGs i just browse babefocus.com
  7. you makin no sense manyou take how much you bought in for (stop the 30+3, its 33).take money bought in, then take how much money you made after bought in...and there you go.like if you bought in for $100 and you end up with $200, thats 100% roi - your return on investment was 100%. (more importantly you made $100)
  8. hehthis is just one terribly played hand all aroundfirst off, you should have raised more preflop, second you bet too much on the turn, 3rd you folded with what could have been the best hand easily (not much cost either).
  9. hell, i would have raised them all in preflop.first in vigor.this is almost the 10:1 rule here. most of the time they'll fold to get ITM (or itm more)this is chip collecting time - late in a tourney big stack able to push people around.Sure, Ax will call - or sometimes the evil QQ KK AA will be there - oh well, even THEN your only a 20% vs 80%.on further thought, this is a horrible post and we don't need your ****ing bragging how you made such a great play when you DONKED it right off the bat.
  10. a more than 2x stack than yourself rerasing here isnt really a big deal, you could be beat but 3rd best hand. The 700 stack pushing all in is interesting, prolly a pocket pair/AK. you have all but 2 of those beat.So sure, you re-raise all in - if the re-raiser calls so be it, but it looks like you might end heads up and double up.you know, QQ vs KK or AA is a 1:4...means your going to win even against the worst news 20% of the time.cant fold queens in tourneys in these situations.
  11. I don't see anything wrong here.In MTTs you either need to get lucky and or win with your big hands. some luck involved. Basically impossible to get off queens.unlucky, yes. he played it poorly, yes. oh well thats poker.
  12. This is why online, I like to multi table.Usually at one table im down a little (or perhaps a lot), but at the other table im up a little to a lot. Occasionally I'll be down on both tables and evaluate my play.It isnt so bad when your down 20BB on 1 table and up 25BB on another table...you know over time your ok.this does not work in NL.you could be down 30 BB in 1 hand
  13. i fully understand, at the same time i think it is importat to show how totally screwed AQo is...6% difference is a fair amount.
  14. ok im confused..you pushed $20 when the blinds were 50?whats with this A8 stuff?????????????im offically confused.
  15. 11% AQ is going to win?even suited im getting less than 10% of the timeoffsuit its closer to 5% of the time to win.AA wins closer to 75% of the time with AQ offsuit.Maybe with proper trickery with suits you can get to yours, but the OP did say AQo.
  16. if it were me, id bet.you have a lot of outs to scoop the pot, with enough callers even being quartered isnt a big deal. i dont think you can bluff anyone out of course...then again, it appears to matter little to how i play omaha hi/lo. i win a little if i play real tight, i win a little if i play looser and throw out flops that didnt hit.just my own experience...
  17. I'll just use this example as what happened in my sit n go NL tourney.$5 game - 4 people left. Myself and this terrible player (that I have seen before and made a note of his style) are the two bigger stacks, 3x more than the other 2 guys.So our chips are around 6000 each, 2000 for the other guys. Blinds are 150/300 and soon to be 200/400.My terrible friend calls just about any small bet, espically now that he has lots of chips. The other players are obviously waiting for me to bust him or get some cards themselves (ive been reading harrington, but even with a M of 6, that may be enough to get
  18. Well i dont mind your thinking that you were beat.He did give you a free card and you took it.btw a set is when the guy has 2 pocket cards and 1 on the board (like A45 when you hold AA).trips is when the board is K8K and someone has AK.a set > trips in theory because the set is better concealed, tho in pure hand ranking it is the same.
  19. Ive read a few books, mostly preach the conservative starting off strats. There are a couple of exceptions - like harrington's book (excellent). However the advanced books are over many people's head and the popularity of poker on tv etc has really brought so many more players in that it should offset ANY sort of book edge taken off.not to mention people like to gamble...
  20. In fact, I am a bit curious why you checked here. That was a reasonably good flop for you - and in position.
  21. i'd think you have to push - you are in the money and this looks like the perfect time to more than double up. you only have so much time to earn chips.i dont see much danger cept pocket 8s and KK (which i wouldnt even bother counting)AK KQ KJs are more likely..He might have AA, QQ, JJ, TT...all of which gave you a free card. Punish the mistake.
