I'm sure that Halliburton pays a substantial amount in taxes on that Trillion dollars of profit. Even if the goverment somehow only see 1% of the trillion dollar profit, that is still 10 Billion, so I think in your example that is a great ROI for the government.

Yes but knowing how to make "as much money as possible" tells me that you would at least know where to look for waste. IE if something is broke you either fix it, or get rid of it, not just keep pumping money into it until it "works". Also, she would know something of budgets and how to maybe make a budget work and start to see about fixing the broken pension system. For me, I like the idea of trading a pension for a traditional 401(k) plan. The government pension plans, at least in CA, are out of control and needs to be fixed in a hurry.

I'm leaning more towards Whitman right now. She ran a multi billion dollar business. Seems like she should be able to identify waste and be able to at least try and get rid of it. The thing about Tiger is that no matter what, when he is playing good he has the best chance out of anyone to win. None of the younger guys have that moxie yet. Could you somehow break your business into three seperate businesses each with 35 employees? Or is there some legal jargon about doing that. Feeling good again with my game. Shot a +1. Also, I just bought a Star Destroyer. I was considering the Katana or the groove, however, I heard the Destroyer was like a Groove but just a tad easier to throw. First shot i had lead to an awesome birdie. There is a HUGE difference. First of all, I don't think you ever saw Siegfried and Roy cruising around their neighborhood with the Tigers on a leash. As I said before they are in a controlled environment which makes them "controllable" although we saw how well that worked out. Second of all, Tigers are wild animals who have a predatory instinct. No matter how much S&R try to bury that down, it is going to be there.

I'm pretty sure walking around with a Tiger is neither safe nor responsible for anyone's sake. Yes, they can be reasonably controlled, but that is usually in a controlled environment.

Ah. Sorry, you posted that it was a persistant danger to you, which I took to assume you meant that you were in constant danger from Pitbulls attacking you. It seems rather that the persistant danger is to your dog. I can understand that. We have a mini dachshund and anytime I see a meaner looking bigger dog (not just pitbulls mind you) I either switch sides of the street or pick him up as we walk by. I think you might be over reaching on this conclusion. Do you not go out on the streets because there are pit bulls lurking waiting to maul you ... I think not. There is definitely something wrong with the individuals who own them because they want a tough dog and they go about making the stereotypical "Pitt", but to say they are a persistant danger to you is an interesting way to word it. Maybe you can expand on this a little so we understand what you mean.
