  6. I was about to catch up on Challenge and clicked the back button when seeing this page. You stopped me reading Challenge for this thread, so I must ask...Who are you, and what makes it so that you should have a well and Ievery single person on this forum shouldn't?
  7. I assume he's bust now, yeah? Heh. If he's not going to listen
  8. Since you know not to limp in, I'm assuming this is tilt-enduced? BB in the JJ hand seems like a very competent player (esp. for $10). I'd highly recommend getting out of his way.Oh, and you have to fold JJ there. If the SB wasn't in the hand then we could consider calling, but at this rate you're drawing to a set.Not a personal fan of the large 4-bet with 2 players behind you, also. I mean, you're put in half your stack when there exists a decent chance you're going to get 5-bet shoved on. You could 4-bet smaller, but I'd probably flat there.
  9. At the same time as playing on FTP, I was nutbarring like 8 PS tables, and they all ran amazingly smooth.Heh.
  10. Yes. You'd have to adjust your bet/raise sizing to get the money in by the river.Fwiw, you should be trying to do this in basically all hands you're playing for value.
  11. Fwiw, Sean, I know what you mean. When I played on FTP (back in September) it lagged like crazy, randomly disconnected and the works. Also, I was playing on Windows XP, so there goes blaming Vista:)
  12. Being OOP, yeah; IPITS. I mean, some people would say just c/c but then we risk the villain not betting the turn, leaving us to salvage what we can on the river. That said, we're pretty lucky since the board is nice and co-ordinated. If we had TT on, say, TT2r, we'd have to call to let people catch up, imo.
  13. lol. When I was responding I was like, "Man, I hope they know I'm joking or I'm going to look like such an idiot"Ah well.
  14. Bet, and hope he has AKRyan, that's what I like to see. Sick run for 50 hands or so there. What were you running for that session? Like 30/26 or something?
  15. That's like... bad critique :)As people have said, betting the flop would be good, but since that's not been done..You want to raise the turn to a point where your opponent is getting good odds to call off your shove on the river. If you were to 3bet the river to say $2, you would have $3.20 left to shove into a river pot of $4.50. This gives your opponent a similar price to call what he's calling the $2 into $2.90 in this pot, but obviously you're getting more money from him.
  16. Yeah. Usually AP say they'll be having a bonus at a certain time, so it's best to just withdraw like 2-3 days before then, and deposit when the bonus comes into effect:)
  17. If he has the he'll bet more as he'd probably expect you to call with any heart. That said, I'd raise this river as most hearts will call (imo). He has $7 left, so you can shove or just raise small for value if you want. I probs. just shove.Ftr, this was my response before reading the replies, including results
  18. Since you're from Manchester, and (I'm assuming) attend The University of Manchester, I've concluded that I'm going to try and help you. If you feel like adding me on AIM or MSN (since you're in England, I'm assuming you've got MSN as all the cool kids do) then that would make it easier for us to communicate and discuss things. Of course, I'm not the best player out there, but I think I could at least get the ball rolling without you flicking through books all day long. I'm sure you get enough of that with your course (I sure do). Eitherway, can't hurt you to try me. :)If you're interested, ju
  19. Yeah. The title of this thread summarises it.
