  1. He probably calls here with a 3 enough, but i dont know if id be vbetting that every time, it is QUITE thin
  2. if we had the A i shove most of the time. as it is fairly standard fold
  3. how did utg+1 respond to the ai? i think we're up against a set here a LOT (5s, 6s make sense, qs dont really) the call/shove of the bb is really strong, and i think unless we have reads that he is a moron i let this go
  4. Always always always give unknowns the benefit of the doubt until you observe otherwise. To do anything else is reckless. I don't see this fold as weak at all. But next time, raise about the pot after the sb's bet, will make the hand far easier to play
  5. answering these questions is impossible, you should know that poker is an extremely situational game and, hu, very read dependant. to answer the one question in there that i can.. no, never let a downswing alter the way you play (unless the way you play was originally flawed). try and play each hand in a vacuum
  6. If you are playing donks folding to a raise from something stupid like QJ would suck. I check call a psb here
  7. Bluffing what? All that beats us is TT or the straight flush, and attempting to bluff someone off either of these hands is insanity
  8. If villain was deeper I agree, but in this situation a raise is putting him ai
  9. I hate spots like this, but by calling the turn we are basically saying that we don't think villain has anything and are prepared to call a river bet ui. Calling the turn and then folding the river is a leak imo, but that doesnt mean that I call the turn without history with the villain
  10. i guess thats what i get for posting when busy at work, didn't even see the smiley
  11. raise more on the flop ($15-16). as played i bet ~$20 on the turn or alternatively check behind and c/f any river bar a jack
  12. i make a point of replying to any strat thread WITHOUT reading any responses to avoid either a. reading results or b. biasing my initial opinion. im here to improve my own game by sparking discussion aswell as helping you out, if you dont want that help theres no need to be a **** about it
  13. i really dont think we can call here
  14. hand 1 is a call, he plays back at us with a queen or higher pphand 2 i dont like your raise amount, $80-$85 is more than enoughhand 3 i foldbtw, you're going to get better responses separating these into different threads. i really am too lazy to respond with more than a one liner here, like alot of people im guessing
  15. eh, you had a 7 outer on the river, not too much of a luckbox lol
  16. we're really giving credit here to a fh/higher king? for us to be worried we have to put him on K8+, K6, K3, 33 or 66... i cant see how any hand other than (MAYBE) 66 makes sense given his button limp (for us to be beat that is)i would be calling this and shoving any river honestly
  17. what game format is he playing? fr or sh? sh that v$pip isnt as bad as if he has those stats at fr (im usually at like ~28-30 v$pip playing sh).. altho still too loose to be overly profitable unless he can play LAG quite well, which if he is getting coaching i can assume that he doesn't (yet).
  18. hand one is standardi like a turn raise on hand two to about $14 or $15
  19. oh ofcourse, i wasnt saying that we eliminate an ace from his range entirely, but the post i quoted seemed to put him solely on Ax and folding for that reason alone, which is v weak hu
  20. what gives you that impression? reducing his range to Ax is very strange hu
  21. He's calling down with AT and down if you vbet? I think if you chose to put a bet in here its a verrrry thin value bet.i check behind
