I'm new to Omaha and was just curious how often you get dealt quads?I've played maybe 500 hands and got em for the first time. Of course I bet em to the river and got beat.Nah, JK I folded Pf.

I've never chopped online. I don't think any site I've played on even allows that.But B&M I'm always open to it. Usually when it gets down to 4 or 5 the blinds are so high you can go from CL to short stack with a quickness. Obviously I'm not referring to big tourneys. Just weekly casino deals. Anyway if I'm CL I make sure to get mine.

I agree..... that's why it makes WINNING the hand less likely.

I want to add I'm not some kind of odds mastermind or anything. I was just playing in a tourney and after the hand I checked the odds.A few weeks ago I raised in a live tourney with a terrible hand. Sometimes that doesn't matter. When they reraise you all in back it does.I've learned from my mistake. It wasn't the cards it was the fact with everything involved I didn't raise all in.Anyway I had 2-10 on the button. I was reraised all in. I always seem to miss out on a few tourneys I like to play. Like the 2+0 6k rebuy. I think I rebuy as much as DN does in small WSOP tourneys. But I always make it home too late from work. Months ago I could call the charter member # and they would sign me up over the phone. I can't access FCP from work.By the time I make it home the torneys are sold out or have just begun.I wish you could sign up for these smaller tourneys like 24hrs in advance.Anything you can do Bob?

I'm sure you know the answer. It's hard to listen to when you're getting sucked out on time after time. But the only thing you can do is keep playing your best and try to get your money in the middle with the best hand.When I first started coming here I would post all my bad beats. People would respond with "thats poker, tough luck, too bad, get used to it, etc".Then it seemed like when I did lose with the worst hand it was preflop with me having KK and the other guy having AA.It was brutal. It was just one of those times. Just try to absrb all the info you can and keep on keeping on.I went on

On 2+2 someone said he came with 1 single buy in. Lost 60k of that with top pair vs AA against Doyle. Then had to nurse a short stack. I guess that doesn't mean he won or lost. Just that I heard about that 1 hand.

The perception I have of Jamie Gold is that he has tried to get out of a verbal contract he had for 6 million dollars. Just to add real quick. This morning I went to the Gold Strike to play in the 11am tourney.As usual I played 1-2nl first. I won $85 in about 30 minutes.Then I played in the tourney and won $500 when we chopped with 4 people.Two key hands ..... He called the BB then I raised. I don't see that as the problem at all. It just takes time to inform people IN A MATURE MANNER that a particualr post belongs in another place.That's just the problem around here.
