Depends if you play better short handed or not. Short handed, obviosly play 6, otherwise, play larger. You just need to adjust your play slightly depending on how many people there are at the table (ie. starting hand values go down with less people).

Yeah, Limit is a much better cash game, but no-limit makes for nice tournament play.

Limit would probably be a little more steady. No limit probably has a lot of ups and downs. I'd stick with playing limit. No limit is also fun, but limit is where I make the money.

I think it was later, because they didn't use them when Harrington won the WSOP. Not positive, but they were probably started to be used around 2002 or so
