  1. That is why the field is so big, they all got the memo that I was taking a pass. Sadly, I lasted just 10 minutes in the 50 freeze. KK<AA. Still not good enough to fold KK preflop. I played 4 of the 6 hands and was put in 3 ugly spots. I was at the Toilet's table too, was looking forward to playing at the same table for a while. GG 10 minutes.
  2. I would have played the 11r but I'm in serious need of a shower. I'll be in the 50 freeze though.
  3. Good job skully, if FCP wasn't down I would have been on the rail. You've got a stake coming from me too, you can build on this and take it to the FT.
  4. Thanks Cappy. I appreciate it. It was a fun day. Now I just need to be a two hit wonder like TJ.
  5. Thanks for the support guys. That was a fun final table. You were awesome. As I said in the other thread and to the rail last night...Stakes are on the way although not today. I want to do a barrage with bounties or something if I can get a couple of others involved.Need some more sleep before I crush another 3000+field.
  6. LOL...how is that running good?I just checked my PUFF factor for that tourney on PXF...Going into the last hand I was an 8 (average luck is 50)..last hand boosted it to 10. Granted my PUFF was 82 in the VIP freeroll...obv I ran pretty damn good to go through those 2 fields...but I played pretty damn good too.
  7. I'm glad I did too. I was raising a bunch of people light.even with my modest stack...it was so weak tight out there...i had 2 in my hand...and against what I deemed your range to be it was a clear fold. I hate raise folding with under 20bbs and usually avoid that situation if i can...but my hand sucked vs your range. I didn't think you were capable of that shove. Well done! However, I knew even with 15bb...i could still chip my way up through shoves. I was 20th out of 20 late in the tourney and I was very confident I'd make the FT and beyond. NH though.
  8. Thanks for all the support guys...i'm still in the 5r...not sure how...I ignored it for 90 minutes.Stakes to follow...maybe a barrage with bounties...we'll have to see.Hub...the thread was great...but I wasn't going to forget about this tourney, sorry bud.
  9. It depends on your limits. It also depends on the amount of volume you are able to play as an MTTer. If you can a play high volume at the lower-mid limit MTTs they are very beatable and you can be more profitable than at low stakes cash games. However, as you move up in limits, you will reach a point where cash games become more profitable. I play both. MTT's are so high variance and the downswings are ridiculous. If you are beating cash it helps sustain your bankroll during those times. Cash games also help improve your post flop play which is a weakness for most low limit players.
  10. check the stack sizes again...that's an insta call 3 handed with his monster stack. Nice Cash Gib.
  11. I would guess they have a bet. They did this once before when they were frustrated at the stress and pain that is Sunday as an MTTer. Annette complained about she had never had a big score in a Sunday major. Instead of playing their normal schedule they played mostly micro limit MTTs and also played a couple of the majors (or 100/200 rebuy). Annette won the bet when she finished 2nd in the $3 rebuy. A week later she won $100k+ in the Sunday Full Tilt $500K guaranteed.
  12. I'll book that action now too. If they go out and get McNabb that will certainly narrow the gap, but the Cowboys are young at most of the skill positions and only going to get better. I look forward to those reasons why... it will be very entertaining.
  13. Ivey took $560k from Antonius in HORSE yesterday. If he lost another $200k today he needs to take a break. I don't care who you are...losing that much in a short span has to affect your play. DN and Brian Townsend can attest. Continually sitting with Ivey now is not very smart.
  14. Good idea. I don't have an avatar on PS, I can't think of a better choice. RIP Chip.
  15. I agree with mk that 3 betting here is profitable. I just don't like this situation. Why get involved in a confrontation with the best player at the table (or 2nd best if you think you are the best) in a marginal situation? Now he may be raising with air (its quite possible) but if you 3 bet you have to go all the way. I don't like it, especially when you say he hasn't been messing around. You can find a better spot than this situation.
  16. What a brutal way to start the day. RIP Chip. He was a true professional. He was pure class. This is a gigantic loss for the poker world, we need more people like Chip Reese in this game. My condolences to his family. They lost him way too early.
  17. This is very close. I follow Annette's guide to playing pocket pairs UTG. Over 8bb's she folds but under 8bbs she shoves, but that's full ring. We are 6 handed. It's really close, if the table is playing tight I shove. If those big stacks are gambling it up I fold.
  18. I play very tight in the blinds early, blind battle or not, unless there is a player I really want to play pots against. I think a lot of players spew chips by being too loose in the blinds. As far as specifically to blind vs blind. I still play tight early. I think some players get too involved in not being bullied and get into too many confrontations that they later wished they hadn't gone to battle with. I got into that nonsense for a while. In the mid to latter stages it all depends on stack sizes. If the other blind has a near equal stack or would be crippled if he lost a confrontation I'm
