  1. But if the thread dies do you give it a tombstone?
  2. Yeah, it was. But consider that he is also the one that wrote that awful fifth street book that so many consider a poker must read. It's an interesting story none the less...No it's not.
  3. Just curious at this point, how do you know that John was bisexual? According to Paul, there was no truth to that rumor.
  4. Well since I don't know, nor do I care, about the sexuality of any of the members, I have nothing to choose one of them for.
  5. Yeah I choose John too, because of his solo work. But you're question was on the group supposedly. If you take into account thier solo work then that would redefine the original question. Please stay on topic.
  6. I'd say that John was the biggest idiot of them all. Paul was the most egotistical of them.Ringo was the most pathetic. And George, who can remember what he ever did.
  7. Well then the solution is easy isn't it? Don't go back to that restaurant. If you and the other 'celebrety' pros are that unhappy do something about it. Don't enter the events. The glitz and reputation of the WSOP comes from the history of the event. Drawing in 'the best of the best'. If that is no longer true, the event goes by the wayside, and something else will be the defining game of the year.Sorry chuck your solution doesn't work. And as I recall you were unsympathetic to players who got caught up in poker raids too.Could you elaborate on why the solution doesn't work? What about the sol

  9. Well I know that this friday CompUSA is having a 6pm-12am sale. One of the features is a laptop for like $500 after rebates. I think it was a HP. I just glanced it on the sale PDF.

    question....

Well it really comes down to a question of how much are you playing? Do you have a 9-5 job? Are your family and friends complaining that they don't see you as much as they did/should? If you're doing a 40/hr job and then playing poker 40/hr and ignoring or minimizing family and friends, I agree with them that you have to change your priorities. If you cut out your friends and family for a game, you've got your priorities messed up. It all comes down to a balance in your life. If you're happy without the friends (family will tend to be there for you) then keep ignornig them for time at the tabl
  11. Well this is where the bankroll issue comes into play. I like having a large bankroll for playing poker so that I don't have to go into 'career' money to support my hobby of playing poker. Now if you don't mind putting in more money when you lose it, ignore the bankroll rules. 300bb is the optimal that people shoot for overall. For me I've found that ~225 works well enough for me on a regular basis. I'll move up when I feel comfortable that I think I can play there and have the 300bb for the initial transition period. But once I'm comfortable playing there even if I lose down to ~225bb I don't
  12. I think that one thing that you must consider is that you have brought on some of these issues yourself. Think about how many items have your face on it this year that was not there last year. How many of your friends are plastering thier faces on products that did not have them last year? You're making yourselves into icons in the field and now that people notice you at the events that you help make popular you're griping about it. Do you want the fame or not? That's one thing you must consider and deal with. Unfortunatly for you, the game that you chose to play is one that anyone with enough
  13. I expect that in 15 years you'll still be here saying 'It's over, It's over, It's over, die, die, die'
  14. Personally I'm more of a cat person. I've found the best place to get my new kittens are at http://www.bonsaikitten.com
