This place is still dragging along? Good for you guys for not knowing when to stop
  2. I saw this the other day, I also loved the Jon Stewart clip from crossfire. Good stuff.
  3. I cannot fucking believe people still use this expression.GL and safe home shaver. I don't really know you.. well actually not alot of us really know you, but i know you a lot less than the rest of us do. Nonetheless, put in work over there and I'll think about you naked while you're away.

Yep. As the longest tenured active member of this thread, I have been hating this place for a while now. People might come up with something interesting to say if it had the ability to fall off the page every once in a while. If not, then I say let it die.
  5. Long Island, NYGood: Lots to do, 15 min or less from a beach at all times, good looking bitties, close to NYC, good mixture of urban/suburban culture, cool places to party, esp in the summerBad: Over-crowded, one of the most expensive places to live evar, guidos/north shore douchebaggery, the long island railroad system, stoopit traffic
  6. I see the arguement here, but in the same way that there are natural athletes who won't touch the stuff on priciple, there are talented actors who wouldn't use it to change their body because "they shouldn't have to", or "it shouldn't matter" what they look like because theyre good actors. Wouldn't an actor who gets a $20mil movie deal over a more talented but less attractive actor be taking just as much advantage as the baseball player who hits 50HR in a season and carries his team to the world series?Also- to Rose's point earlier. I feel as if women in this position have an arguement here as
  7. Yeah, well... for women that's just part of the job.I didn't say I was against steriods in entertainment. I just think it's hypocritcal to judge one form of it more harshly than another.Realistically, for the vast majority of us, watching sports is pretty much the same entertainment that watching a movie is. People in circumstances we will never be in, performing better than we ever would. What difference does it make if they're juicing to hit a ball really far, or to look good fighting crime in a movie?
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5d8R-kytaeAthis thread reminds me how much I love JLD
  9. Does anyone else find it strange that actors and entertainers aren't tested for steriods? I mean, A-Rod gets crucified for doing something a few years ago, and while he was breaking into the majors, but wolverine can pump himself full of steriods with no consequence? If steriods give an "unfair edge" in the world of sports, wouldn't you say they do the same in entertainment? Maybe not in the same way, but if you're auditioning for a movie that has anything to do with a beach, or sport, or anything that causes one to remove their shirt, the guy with the 6pack is going to get the role over the ch

  16. It's weird, a good friend's brother is a cop around here, and 3 people I went to high school with are locked up doing 15+, 4 more on probation or some other sort of garbage. It's not like I live in the hood either. It's long island, not the Brooklyn projects. But this dude was the first to be a national story, and the first going in for murder. Crazy stuff.
  17. .. but I knew him. I went to Albany for the first 3 semesters of college and that was where I originally got into poker. I played a ton, and most of times didn't go to classes because there was a game going, or I was too tired from a game that ran late, etc. I lived on a quad where a lot of us were very close, going to eat together, going out to bars, classes, and of course poker. I had a whole section of my buddy list and phone book dedicated to my poker contacts, and most nights we would grab dinner, and meet somewhere and play. If the game ended early we'd go out and hit the bars together.T

little known fact: i like gay movies. not like, notebook gay, but i love teen movies of any kind. Example: I own Honey on DVD. Sure, i got it for like 3 bucks because Alba is at the top of her game in that movie, but still I bought it.
  22. This is all I read. Probably a bad idea to "sit on the fence" if you might have an infection and the doctors want you to do go the emergency room.
