First off it's nice to see you back around littlebullet! That's a shitty swing for sure! It happens to us all though so don't feel lonely. I was on a huge downswing as well not to long ago and won it all back in one night playing the same limits as normalI did drop down for a couple days until I got my confidence back and it seemed to help stop the bleeding. Just keep your head up and continue playing your best and it will come around.P.S. Where is the equity line on your graph? might help you to know if you are running bad or if there are some leaks that need plugging :club:

do you have anything like that is AP supported because I can't find anything that will show me an equity line
Sorry for the hijack, but where can I get software like that to help track my stats? Is that poker tracker?

I never knew it was you who got ass raked - certainly a name I remember playing with more than once.Otherwise, no comment. I'm down $1000 since Dec 1. Good thing I'm playing 2/4 on (what was) a $3000 bankroll.

  • 7 months later...

I'm going to bump this thread one more time. I have 8500 more hands that I played this month and this time I have a graph of pokerev to show how shitty I run at this game. I'm retreating back into my shell of sngs and mtts and maybe someday I'll pick this game up again I love it but I can't stand the way I run. I lost all the hands in that old database when my comp got a virus so I wish I could have run that first graph through poker ev but I doubt it would show me anything different from this one. I don't feel my play has changed much since that last graph either. Still playing nitty, only playing awesome draws, not holding onto weak high hands.lo8_graph_2.jpgPT_stats_2.jpg

you are playing way too tight preflop in both screen shots of PT. and also, if you are playing on FTP i am pretty sure that $10plo8 can not be beat because of the rake.

maybe I am too tight preflop but the funny thing about low limit omaha 8 in all forms pretty much is it doesn't matter how tight you are preflop and you only v-bet and chase nut drawsyou will still get the vast amount of fish chasing w/out odds and chasing low ends of straights and 10 high flush draws and whatnot. I'll try getting my vpip up to around 20-24% but I doubt it will make a difference.funny my omaha hilo style has had much better success in tournaments tho and I'm really not sure why.I guess it's that people actually pay attention to my image I'm able to steal blinds and float around lol.About the rake I know I've given the stupid sites atleast 1000$ in rake so far but I just can't move up no bank roll yet. :club:

The thing with tournaments is hand selection helps out greatly because the play is soooo bad.You need that one hand in the first hour to triple up on, and the rest is regular tourney start. You can also play the hi-lo drinking game, where you need to take a shot every time A3 is good for the low in multiway pots, but you'll never make it to the first break doing that, so proceed at your own risk. :club:
