UNCpoker 0
Ok, will be making my first trip to one of these. There are 4 of us going there, Reno is a lot closer, but would it be worth the extra hours to Vegas?Looking to play some smaller buyin NL tourneys and 1/2 or maybe a little higher NL cash games. What are some of the better places that some of you have been to?Thanks
chaosnhavoc 0
I would hit Vegas! Last time I went to Reno it may have been just the timing but it seemed full of regulars. Everyone knew everyone. Vegas on the other hand has alot more tourist traffic.
Rude Dog 0
I've only seen one casino in Reno that has a decent poker room, the El Dorado. they have a room full of table going seemingly all the time. Harrahs has shit except for a tourney some mornings. The El Dorado has only one NL table, and I think somebody has to die before there is an opening, and the list is as thick as the phone book. I think the guys that sit in that game even have the same seats assigned. There may be a game at the Peppermil, but, I never seem to get down there.
