High Stakes Poker: Season 3 Starts Jan. 15th

Is there a thread where people discuss the episodes? I can't find one.I can't believe that Danny Alaei folded 55 to Chen's bet on a 4-6-3 flop getting 3-1. Sure there was a flush draw out but he's ahead of an unpaired flush draw and he's got 10 outs against an overpair. I just can't find an explanation for the fold other than 'scared money.' (I just watched it again, and apparently a 7 had been exposed, which was one of Danny's outs; but still, even with 9 outs I can't find a fold here).Jamie Gold seems to be something of a tellbox.

Nice to hear DN's commentary but he's better on the felt. He'll probably get better asthe season goes on. The way he sounds though, he won't be staying in the booth the rest of the show, just for a little while.

Gabe pulled off 2 great bluffs with small bets. Mike looked pretty pissed. Can someone explain the 50 grand loan to Gold and why Doyle was pissed, I still don't understand it. Why is he pissed?

mike wanted to load gold money and still be able to "play" the 50k should he need to go deep. known as playing from behind. well doyle was pissed for some odd reason, seems he doesnt trust mike to A) not have to use the 50k he is lending away, B) win the pot should he play it, and most importantly C) stand good for at after both A) and B) transpire. this is just my take on the situaltion though, im not sure if im right

Basically, Gold wanted to add 50K to the money in play, and Mikey was willing to do that, but didn't actually have the cash with him to cover it. If Gold and Mike were busto, where's the 50K coming from? Doyle just said he wanted to ensure that the money would be covered by everyone at the table. I think it must have come from: a) doubt that Mike had the 50K to cover it (Mike might be staked in the game in the first place); and B) a general salute at Gold's trustworthiness (how good is his word?).Many of the players have loaned out of their table stakes (DN to Buss, DB to Kaplan), without it creating any tension. Is there more to it? I couldn't figure anything else.
