  1. I used to play 5/10 limit and up on Party before I moved to NYC & started my new job...want to get back to playing again. Now that US players can't play on Party, what's the best site to play limit 3/6 and higher? Most tables? Most fish? I used to love switching between the 5/10 and 10/20 games on Party, looking to ease my way back into those levels, want to start at 3/6.I played on Full Tilt the other night for the first time, was good, not a lot of tables, but good. Thanks in advance.
  2. HelloDoes anyone know the website where you can find out how a players wins/losses? thanks in advance.
  3. I'm not sure how it's configured for Absolute, but you might want to contact the admin for PT, he usually responds right away...look for him over at the PT forums, his name is Pat, PM him too.Link: http://www.pokertracker.com/forum/Good luckc
  4. I'm down...what's the limit? I play heads up with you if you want Let me know
  5. Read any of Sklansky's books on limit hold em. A good book once you are done with those is "How good is your limit hold em" because it's formatted like a quiz which tests your knowledge...it's a good way to test whether or not you've learned anything via Sklansky without losing your arse.
  6. reads matter.me?I just about never would in a 16 BB pot for 1 bbIm calling
  7. I like raise on the flop. 99 is beat by any 10, J, Q, K, A. Your raise hopes to thin out the field on the flop (which it didn't, but I would attribute that to being at the 2/4 game). You played pre-flop to turn fine IMO.Agree with Screech, bet river, especially with someone all in. By betting river you get a little insurance in case all in person has a J, and make some extra money by the other foo's calling your river bet.
  8. I don't see any other way to get more money in other than betting out on turn and hoping your benefactor raises turn which gets you one more big bet. Checking flop was correct, you don't want to lose him here, and by doing so you probably were able to string him along to the river. You played it right IMO...good work.
  9. I think you are drawing to a 9 or 10 here (6 outs). With the SB & BB call on the flop, I would think that one of them (if not both) are on the draw which means one of them probably has a 9 which kills your chances of taking it with 2 pair. Given your position I would not raise here, I am more inclined to bet out on the flop, which gives you a clearer picture on where you are in the hand. If you do that, perhaps the UTG+2 raises and forces out the SB & BB who are probably on the draw and leaves you feeling a little better if the J comes to make your 2 pair (which essentially gives yo
  10. Living in Los Angeles, I used to play a lot more live than online. Then I discovered Poker Tracker and that has absolutely done wonders for my game. Now I play mostly online, about 2K hands per week, and visit the local B&M's about once a week. Having statistics to back up my "Gut feeling"/instincts has made me a lot of money, and then developing a sense of trust in my instincts has probably been the largest contributor to my success.
  11. Yes, this was my friend, I was logged on to Party all day yesterday.Sorry for not posting this in the bad beat forum, but I really don't consider this a "Bad Beat" so to speak...point of this thread was to get everyones opinion on his play in a NL game...IMO, this seems like the right place to post.
  12. I dunno the gods seem to like me my friendHey...May all your cards be live & pots be MONSTERS!
