ajs510 122
That's a great offer Serge, thanks very much! A Sunday game would be very tough, 4 hour trip home after the game to make work Monday morning and I've scheduled/used all my vacation days for the year. Much appreciated though
serge 904
That's a great offer Serge, thanks very much! A Sunday game would be very tough, 4 hour trip home after the game to make work Monday morning and I've scheduled/used all my vacation days for the year. Much appreciated though no problem.. Offer stands for anyone in the Toronto area. Tickets are $20 at the door, but we got them for a lot less..Its a great rivalry game..Oshawa and Peterborough. Fun atmosphere..Lots of prospects..Thats where I learned about Jenner, Laughton, Del Zotto...Many more.. You look up and see Lindros, Bobby Orr..Its a cool feeling...Its not the NHL, but its good hockey. I am sure there are closer OHL teams to Buffalo? Just found out there is an OHL team in Erie PENNSYLVANIA
Zach6668 513
That's where mcdavid plays.
ajs510 122
That's where mcdavid plays. I looked into it once before. Niagara is the closest to the Buffalo area, which itself is at least an hour away from me. Erie is actually further away from Rochester than Kitchener, Guelph, St. Michaels, Brampton and possibly London as well. Often thought about using part of my inevitable Powerball win to bring OHL hockey to my region.
mrdannyg 274
That'd be sweet Adam! I used to go to games regularly when I went to school in Guelph. We had the Storm of course but plenty of other teams in driving range, and most of my friends grew up in one of the surrounding towns and a couple roommates played, so we'd always go see someone's 'team'. Keep in mind that being an hour away really just means an hour, since the games are a bit shorter, and you don't have the traffic crush coming out that doubles your commute. serge 904
Massive start to the season as the Mustangs beat the Gothic(pending league approval of the scores). Stars for the Mustangs were Marcus Johansson(3 Assists) Alex Chiasson, Alex Steen.. We made a mistake by not playing Chuck Kobasew..Who also scored. The has been Gothic were shut down pretty good as the crappy tandem of Stamkos and Neal were combined outscored by ex Gothic Matt Niskanen. We have been telling people that we are newly improved team with great young talent..Proven last night...

serge 904
Thanks guys.. I will need all the support.. I like to think of my team as the working mans team.. I have a lot of young assets, and I have been tempted to move them..But I am not going to do anything drastic like trading a Chiasson,Yakupov,Johansson and any of my other young core guys.. Goal is to make the playoffs this year and turn a profit..
