Another Great Interview With Dn, Idiots Here, Behave!

Recommended Posts

http://pokerworks.com/article-884.htmlAnother great article interviewing DN.I wonder if this idea holds any water:Boycott the World Series, keep the satellite qualifying $12K you won at your online site instead of going to Las Vegas. Why? To teach b&m casinos that they can't manipulate the rules to hurt online poker. We have to do the work that the online casinos were too cheap to do in the first place, lobby the whores in Washington.Lol, plenty of ways to rebut the above, but I thought I'd put it out there.I think I know what DN would say, it would just hurt poker... but hey, doesn't keeping the money online help online poker?Isn't it zero sum?Another thought: Wow, your opinion of the Donald is quite forthright! I agree that he's a bit of a blowhard, etc. but it all makes sense businesswise as his properties and brand name get about $50M+ in advertising and brand building exposure due to the Apprentice show. The knock on him is that if he were Japanese when he and New York City were going broke in the nineties, he'd still be broke, yet he had the balls then to criticize the cash rich Japanese then and afterwards when he mulled running for President, lol. However, you have to give him credit for going from being 'worth' negative $986M to where he is today, due to his great negotiation skills vis a vis local government, etc. Also, he's really done a great job raising his kids and they have no character flaws. Daniel, don't make enemies when you don't need to, lol, just looking out for you bro'!On the 2nd page of the article DN mentions getting enough oxygen to the brain.Unless there's been a new discovery, an old Scientific American article in the 80s shows that oxygen and glucoseentering the brain is remarkably constant, due to the importance of the brain's function.I would think zero caffeine and alcohol is the right path, along with some nutritional supplements for the vegan/vegetarian;viz. some zinc, iron and specific B vitamins, as well as Vitamin D and selenium...DN, you may not want to divulge this, but how about getting a coach like Anthony Robbins on the downlow? Ha ha!Also, pretend you are 21 years old and play the smaller events as if you were hungering for success, you are building a legacy here if you have the energy for it. Here's another amusing unrelated article about Larry Flynt vs Republicans, albeit ancient--Feb. 23, 1999:http://pokerworks.com/article-165.htmlThanks to the guys in the Chan Thread for pointing me towards pokerworks.com

If you had five lives to pursue five different careers, what would be your five lives, other than this one?Larry Flynt: A gynecologist, an evangelist, a brain surgeon, a lawyer. I could be a bum for a few years. What would your five choices be?(P.S. a double duty thread, so you don't have to scroll so much, not a bad idea, eh?)Mebbe DN can tell us some Flynt stories, indirectly from Flynt's big game.

From the end of the interview with Flynt, link in OP:Why do you think human beings have such a strange relationship to their needs for reproduction, such a complicated relationship to sex?Flynt: "The one medium that we use to communicate with more than anything else is sex. You'd think we'd make an effort to understand it a little bit better. And other than the desire for survival, the strongest single desire we have is for sex. It's important to explain how the repression and guilt came about. The church has had its hand on our crotch for 2,000 years. And the government is moving in that direction. Feeling that if they can control the pleasure center, they can control you.But it's like the genie's out of the bottle now with the Internet and the way we communicate. The elite doesn't really have the ability to dictate anything to us about our mores. Since the Victorian era, the rich and the privileged have always had their erotic bound editions of pornography. But today, the newsstand and the video store has become the poor man's art museum. And governments around the world are having trouble dealing this. Because the effort before was to always control the people. Now it's obvious as we move into this era of wireless communication that we aren't going to be able to control the people."I didn't know or think about the bold part much before, or rather--lately.I realize that DN has traditional values on nudity (it makes sense here, what with you maniacs), but I wonder what DN thinks about the above quote... seriously... Relevant to this forum, not that I'm advocating any changes.

Why do you make threads like this:http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...c=98593&hl=followed by a new topic that bounces between first, second, and third person, has no consistency whatsoever and makes little or no sense at all as a whole?Who knows. Some things just are the way they are.

Jebus, who are you talking to back and forth? I feel like I am on a bad date with a ***** that won't stfu. Granted you're complaint about one liners or people that quote one liners is kinda valid, I would rather read those than a rant. Plus those one liners boost their post count, which in an online forum is equivalent to penis size.
