Clay Aiken 7
What a truly soul drenching experience I had last night!! But like all memorable moments, it can be hard to see the full tapestry of our fleeting and furtive feelings when we are still standing so close to it!! As I stood eye to eye with the that great dragon on the felt I could do no more but to swing my sword wildly, all the while cooing my simple songs of light that I might soften his burning loins and render him slayed by the beating heart of a small child!! Ah, but a glimpse!!And in the end, I am certain we'll all see just what it was that made our rollercoaster lives go "ting-a-ling" at the sight of newborn child, or at the grave of a long dead poet you cherish so, or in the grocer's freezer when you finally give in and purchase that hungry man salisbury steak dinner you've been eyeing for so long!! Eat up Clay, you've got some poker to play!! This I truly and honestly believe!! Wonderful!!
