Just say you're Negreanu, but you can't tell people.
I don't think it was a compliment like "OMG, how you have so much money?".......I think it is more "How the **** do YOU have so much money?"

Yeah I know, but someone dumb enough to ask that, might be dumb enough to believe him.

Wouldn't your raising and 3-bets make it more likely he's looking you up light?

I think I shove here. I put it into pokerstove and even if he has the top 5% of hands here you're still a favorite and if he does have A-A or K-K, at least it's less than a buy in? Idk, I'm not very good though.Edit: I'm curious to see what better players do here though...

I did shove and he had aces. Might be being results orientated, but I told myself I should fold and instead shoved.

That's what I tried this morning too. Bad day, but it wasn't the game, just one of those days.

December Goals:- Play at least 20k hands- Play more hands then rocket- Don't tilt off all my tourneys in the $4.40 challenge- Work harder at improving- Look into getting a coach (coughsnamuhcough)- Get a f'n spring internship at a local accounting firm (not really poker related, but still, VERY IMPORTANT)- No tilting- Table select better- Only play when feeling optimal

VT how do you play $25 NL but then play like $1k worth of tournaments on Sundays?
lol i posted about this a while back. Its weird i know. Im just super new to cash games... and I guess I wanted to start at the bottom. I've been playing 50nl 6m but wanna give full ring a shot today so I played 25nl. Its definitely pretty weird but I really want to be able to beat mid stakes cash eventually as a nice source of income so I figure starting from the bottom up is the best way to go. Im backed for tournaments but play cash on my own money.. I obviously am well rolled for 1/2+ but I think that would just be lighting money on fire if I tried to jump in those games.
