When he pots it, i put him on a dry overpair and thought he would fould. I just moved to this table, 45-ish left in tonights $11 Omaha, this is right after the first break, we both have average stacks. BB has a below average stack

Even in position this is a fold preflop. Your set is , your straight , your flush , everything you can possibly hit on flop will be mostly dominated by better hands/draws.In cash games , when there are 6-7 limpers in front of me i limp in from button with this kind of hand to see a flop and i still consider it as a leak of mine.On flop we are just bluffing. I don't know tourney play but i don't think we should risk half of our chips here. We will see spots where they are dumping their chips on us.

It looks pretty but it isn't a nice hand. I'm a sucker for them though. Fold preflop.I don't buy that he has a dry overpair when he pots the flop. I also don't think he is folding his hand to a repot often at all.I think it's close, but I fold. If he has a higher FD you will be in trouble. If he has JJ you are in trouble as well.

People love these type of draws wayyyyyyyyy too much. Basically if you don't get him to fold, you have a gutshot str8 draw, and thats about it. Maybe you'll be up against a set without a redraw...but even then you arent really loving your hand. You're better off going crazy over top set. Also I think I fold 22xx (where xx is NOT a bigger pair) about 100 out of 100 times preflop. Even bottom set is crap in this game. The only flop you like here is A3x rainbow...so why bother?

He pushed, I was pot committed an called allin for my last 1700, he showed AT66(No heart draw)If he did push I guess this is the best hand i could see, no high FD. I rivered the Qh and was the CL....yeah, im generally pretty tight when it comes to preflop selection....but i am a sucker for the multiple str8 and FD hands
