I mean you can go ahead and flame me all you want. I honestly don't care.I will be the first to admit that yeah It didn't take a whole lot of skill to play the nuts. I go to collegeand for a college student 500$ is a lot of money. That is a boat payment for me. I manage my moneywell so If I do take a big hit I'm covered ,but **** happens you can't control sometimes outside of poker. My friendwho provided me the buy in has always told me I can just pay him his back if I ever want to. If I get up big. He has a ton of money. So he doeson't care if I lose or win.5-10Pl omaha is a pretty high stakes for me. I usually just play 1-2nl or 2-5nl. The point wasn't to brag about my winningseven if I may have came off that way. You can take my word for what its worth. I have no reason to lie to someone behind a computer screens. My Fulltilt era was a dud. I have never played well on the internet. The last time I played on their I cashed out a lil over 600$ from a 100$ deposit, and that was my best run. I won a couple hundred bucks, but I prob came out near even or on the losing end. My point was really this, what was your first time moving up to a higher limit like? I have no ego, If I lost 1500, I'd let ya know about it.I'm not a great player, but I think I can handle my own.
Purely out of curiosity, then... Where do you find the time to go to college, have a steady job with benefits, go to the casino regularly, and train to be an MMA fighter?

The other two had been mucked by another player after the flop.
Crucial plot point left out. Also, it's probably not good narrative practice to discount your opponents' outs on the basis of table talk, since a number of poker players have a nasty habit of lying even when there is little incentive for it. Unless of course you reviewed the hole cams after this particular high-stakes session wrapped.
What else do you want? My Social Security #
No, your Social Security # would be useless to me.

Sounds like you had a good time and made a nice cash. The going south seemed odd, but home games are pretty lax on some rules.Good job, let us know what happens next time you play, seems like you found a good game that will pay you well if you play tight. The most glaring 'lie' to me was a doctor that was nice about losing money though.

I take internet classes, and take one night class a week. I take only 12 credit hours. Train two nights a week. Work from 8-5 everyday. Go to Casino when I can usually on weekends. I play cards mostly during the winter/fall. I usaully don't play in the summer as I stay on the lake quite abit and I'm always traveling with my job.

a lot of other people have pointed this out, but what kind of table lets you take money off of it in the middle of play.. You just can't do that. It's not fair to the other players, they should have a chance to win their money back if you are going to stick around. 4000 is not much money to doctors and lawyers. that's probably around 1 weeks pay for most of them

Money stayed on the table. He took the chips I gave him and continued play with them.

lemme get this straight.player A helps player B get into the game, player A has a piece of player B. when player B wins he gives the money across the table to player A.yep, sounds legit.
