Ratio wise, there are millions of more online players but, who are the better donks? online or cash live games, lets say a full 1/2 nl game
no offense, but this question is so vague (yeah i know you said "let's say a full 1/2NL game) but it's different from game to game, state to state, venue to venue... By sheer volume, there are definitely more donks and way more donkish personalities online. Live, people are in a casino, therefore "gambling", and I think you'll see a lot of wild plays, but there's gotta be more donks online.there, i answered a pointless question.

I love online donks because I can absolutly berate them and their play and not fear any type of retaliation.
haha true, very true, i was just wondering because when there is a standard 3xbb raise online, most online players will fold unless they have decent cards etc, but in casinos or pokerooms, i usually have to raise pf of 10xbb for a raise to be considered( i have pocket KK-AA) dont call me, but i have definately seen the worst of both sides,

and then, for a few seconds, you can pretend their lives are more miserable than yours.

I feel that the average 1-2nl player is much better online than the average 1-2 or 2-5nl live player. but i think as you go higher in stakes that the average 10-20, 25-50 and so on internet player is worse than the the average live player at that size. It seems in my experience that in bigger live games there a few huge fish with money to burn but online at those same stakes there are more bad players who have had a great run and move up without the proper ability and i see tons on player tilt off there money online.just my observations

my problem is that when i play 1/2 live, i usually only have one or max 2 buyins, so when i get bad beated its not like online where you can just deposit again, and i think in live people are more likely to just have the "ok watever attitude"

i was following this thread up until now. hmmm... i have a few suggestions.1) you don't lose money to just bad beats. there are hands which occur naturally where even the best player in the world is going to lose money.2) bring more than 2 buy-ins3) the whole people having an "ok whatever attitude" thing is impossible to follow. i don't know what you are trying to say but it better not be that it is easier to bust when you are playing against these types of players.
