theresa113 0
PrtySux,There are bad beats everywhere. It just sems like there are more bad beats online because you play more hands.I am not sure the age requirement in California, but there is the Commerce Casino http://www.commercecasino.com/index.htm. ddudley 0
I think most of the Indian Casinos are 18 to play.
weirdboy 0
In the LA area your best bet for under 21 poker is Casino Morongo, which is out on I-10 towards Palm Springs. From downtown LA it is roughly a 30-45 minute drive so long as you don't attempt it during a peak traffic time. They spread a wide range of limit games from low-limit of the 3/6 variety up through 15/30, 20/40 and the like. I don't play limit so much, so I think your best bet is to look them up on google and call the poker room to see what limits they spread regularly. They have capped buy-in $100 max and $200 max NL games, and also spread a 5/10 $500 min NL game. Plenty of young faces in those games so you'd fit right in.
StackOSociety 0
Not to be a stickler but it's a bit longer than 30-45 min from downtown LA to the casino where moron's go... Casino Morongo! lol always laugh at that one.. anyway, its about 20 mins from where I live and from my place it's at least an hour to LA, with no traffic. The cool thing is they just opened their brand new facility so now it's a hotel/casino/resort place instead of a lil casino. Haven't checked out the poker room yet but the old one was the dingiest one I'd ever been in... San Manuel is an Indian casino in the Riverside area, that would be about 30-45 min from downtown LA, pretty sure its 18+. When your 21, you can check out Pechanga, it has a HUGE, awesome poker room that's downstairs and away from the action, truly an upper class cardroom. Last time I was at Morongo it was all limit action and 2-4NL...
pursxcorp 0
unless you look like a baby, i wouldn't worry about your age... i don't think i've ever seen anyone get carded in LA... and i know i play with some people under 21! it's a different story if you look really young. but chances are you will be fine... and even if you do get carded, just say i don't bring my wallet to the casino, or some crap like that... samiam 0
I'm only 17 but I've gotten into a few card clubs without being asked for age or ID (I look a little older than I am). I regularly play 3-6 at my local card room. I have family in LA and during the holiday week I played at Normandie Casino in Gardena for a couple of days. No ID check, no trouble. I tried Hustler Casino in Gardena but they asked for ID. If you want poker in LA without ID then Normandie is the way to go. Plus the game I was in was very weak passive.Good luck
