I really don't think they are worth it anymore. In comparison to live games they aren't even close. A 1-2 online plays much much tougher then a 5-10 live. So it kind of feels a little pointless. Throw in the added edge of live reads, which most players are tell boxes at the casino. Am i the only one who feels this way?? I rarely play them these days unless i see a really juicy table which isnt all thats often. I just find the SNG and MTT better value. Sorry if my grammer sucks its early :club:

Most of you missed his point. He's saying that 5/10 lives players are WORSE than 1/2 onlien players.Which is close to true, but the advantages of multi-tabling far far far far outweigh the fact that live games are juicier. In fact, multitabling is a large reason for live games being juicier than online games (fishies go busto faster online b/c good players play 4+ tables)

Even with worse players live, online is still more profitable at limits like 1-2 nl. Multitabling your seeing 6-8 times as many hands, the rake is cheaper, and you don't have to tip. Add to the fact not having to pay for parking, gas to get to the casino, and that 3 dollar hot dog 6 hours into your session, online is way more profitable.

Pretty much what I was gonna say.Live and online are both good for different reasons.

I agree in theory, but in practice:I don't live in a state that has B&M NL cash games. We have a very nice card club, but it is Limit only, except for rare tournaments. I don't quite get limit yet, so it would be a losing proposition. I played on a weekend night, and the players were terrible. I think I could beat them over the long run, even having tiny tiny amounts of experience at limit. I played on a Sunday afternoon, and would be break even at best against those players. The rake and the tipping were brutal to a marginal player like myself.I have a house and kids and family. I play online because I can play in 15-20 minute intervals that suit my lifestyle. I can't drive to the card club (10 minutes), wait for a table (10-90 minutes), and drive back, plus any playing time, except on rare occasions. So yes, I would love to play $4-$2 NL against people who play like the $0.10 players online. Not an option.
