TS Clark 0
I'm watching this right now. I have no idea what limits they're playing, but I am in sheer amazement of the number of people seeing the flop and the absolute crap they are limping in with (or even calling raises with).Someone please tell me that they're doing this because they're on TV. If this is the "typical" way poker gets played in SoCal (6-9 people seeing the flop -- half with hands that I wouldn't wave over a dead dog), I'm moving there next week. The commentary blows, doesn't it?
epistemic 0
it's 8/16. Just some loose players.
epistemic 0
Actually the commentary is good for a live internet show. It's not dumbed down either, I mean yeah I could pick apart a bunch of nuances that irritate me, but overall I think they do a great job.
Emptyeye 0
Yeah, I like the show on the overall. And the commentary is actually very god for being done live on the fly.
Dirtydutch 8
I'm afrad that is how poker is played in Socal.Dutch.
mrnuts 0
haha ts im afraid to let you know that it is exactly what all games 10/20 and under look like and all the way up to 20/40 at most casino's are soft compared to most other places. i used to play alot of 6/12 and 8/16 at the bike a few years ago and the play looks like a 1/2 game. The bike and hollywood park are equally soft but commerce is even softer. The best places to play though are the indian casino's, imagine vegas without the local sharks and insert even more horrible tourists in their spots. If you were ever thinking about playing poker professionally i think socal is actually a better place than vegas as they offer alot more tournaments than vegas as well.
