ShakeZuma 585
Does anybody know what the best place on the web to get real clay chips from is? I'm talking about the paulson or blue chip type, not ceramic or that dice crap. I'm looking to invest in a good set sometime soon and have been trying to find the best price, but figured I'd check with you guys first to see if there are any new developments out there I don't know about.Specs: Real ClayPrefer multi color stripesDon't need to be custom, just good lookingHelp me spend money, fools. ShakeZuma 585
These are what you want...http://www.5stardeal.com/expand.asp?pro=10326&subcat=979 The Paulsons are nice, but I just can't get past the retardedly small inlay. I'd also like to have a 25cent chip since many of my friends are broke losers. Anybody know if any new Paulson sets are coming out any time soon?

ShakeZuma 585
Yeah those are pretty nice too. I've never really been into the old style of chips though. Preferably, I'd like to have poker chips that look like they've been designed by a gay man. Sidenote, I just now ordered a sample set of the new InPlays by Sidepot gaming. They're pretty cool looking.

ShakeZuma 585
Yeah pokerchips.com's are really nice, they're right up there with my top choices. I only have two questions about them:1. Can you get a full inlay, not like covering the entire face of the chip, but at least farther out than the ones they have shown on their site? I don't like the really small centers.2. I read on one chip review site that they were more fragile than other clay chips. Have you had any problems with this?
commoncents 0
not fragile at all.......i like to splash the pot!look at some of the samples of what you can do. i got the plain circle squares and couldnt be happier, inlays are over rated

benhoug 0
I was planning on buying a set of nice clay chips, but when I saw the price (usually $1 per chip) I cam up w/ a new idea. I'm going to get $1 chips from a few different card rooms and build my own set. A lot of $1 chips are white, but other rooms have different colors - Flamingo has light blue, Imperial Palace has grey, etc. etc...In the end I hope to have a set of 500 chips (say 250 white, 150 blue and 100 grey) from 3 different casinos. That way I've got good quality chips, and I'm not out any money as the chips will hold their cash value.
