I'm reading DNs Blog and all of a sudden THERE I AM ... this may be the closest I come to poker fame ... I guess.Last year, I entered the logo contest, and didn't even get selected as a finalist. Of course I made a logo with 10 6 offsuit.Which brings me to my other DN story ... DN was playing heads up against Barry Greenstein at the Wynn. I dropped by to watch them play 7 stud Hi/Lo. After sweating DN for awhile he looks over at the rail where I'm at and says hi. I say hi, and tell him that I entered the logo contest. And he tells me about all of the entries that have a hockey theme or a 10 7 offsuit theme ... at that point I interrupt and tell him that I did a logo with 10 6 off ... his head tilts slightly to the side, eyes squint a little and he says something like .. "huh?" Why did you do that? I tell him that I figured EVERYONE would use 10 7 so I would be different and use 10 6 .... Hmm ... he says, considers his down cards and mucks them ... Hmm ...I don't get it, he says ....Why is it so difficult to explain a bad idea?Ray Link to post Share on other sites
