I forgot that the 2nd half of the 24 premiere is on tommorrow at 7. So I dunno if I can work around that... it's right in the middle of the evening, lol. I know i'm lame, but it's the best show ever. I would tape it, but we don't have a remote for the vcr, lol.

DirecTV with TiVo is barely more than cable. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately its pretty rare to see Omaha hi spread in casinos, except in high limit mixed games. Most places I've been to don't even specify that it's Hi-Lo, they just say Omaha on the board, but it's actually 8 or better.

I have a VPIP of 42 and I have found the variance much smaller. I am sure my VPIP is high but most of the time I fold on the flop, I don't seem to be bleeding money.

I guess they just run the O8 on the weekends or something, cause they didn't have it going.Me and Ben played some 5/10. I had to get home for 24, so I left after about 5 hours and made a big $50. But at least it's in the positive. Got up early, then went real cold for awhile, and squeaked out a small win. Ben seemed to be doing well... Looked to be getting lucky w/ hands I wasn't playing, but against some of these guys, it is probably profitable. (That guy on your right was either on super tilt, or just flat out retarded)I must say though... I don't bet here. The only hand you can really beat is QJ. KQ has you... KJ... AK... any hand with a T. Unless he's a complete donk that would be calling down with something like 88 or 99, I would check. But I'm kind of a tight ass.Nice to bank a win, no matter how small. However, I really don't think the 5/10 is all that beatable in the long run. You might be able to squeak out 1/2 a BB per hour, but at that limit the rake eats up most of your winnings. The 10/20 game there is VERY beatable, however. I recommend it.

He was a bit of a donk, and he'd call me down with Q2 if he had it. You're right about thos hands, but I put him on a much weaker queen, although I should have thought of KJ as well. He raied on draws quite a bit too. But he definitely calls with a worse hand as well.And yeah, i've played the 10/20 before, I agree... I just didn't have the money to risk there really.

Kurt, +167. I must say, I think I had the perfect table image. At first I played very tight, then I switched gears a bit and loosened up. Then once everyone saw me show down some marginal hands I switched back up to playing tight, and it worked quite nicely for me.I wasn't playing junk, I was just playing very marginal raising hands. The one I was proudest of was when I raised from the cutoff w/ J 10 and made my straight on the turn. On the K8 hand There was only 1 limper to me, so I wanted to apply some pressure on the BB (he was a bad player). Up to this point I had not played my sb once, so IF they were paying attention, I'd think they would have to give me credit for something. I ended up getting really lucky to flop 2 pair, but the fact that he called/raised me all the way down w/ KQ was funny.Kurt, the guy when I first sat down who was on your left was the worst calling station ever. And the guy 2 to your left (the fat ugly guy) never saw an Ace he didn't play. He was calling raises on a board of AKQQ with A3. That guy had NOTHING to complain about.I was disappointed they weren't spreading Omaha, but 5/10 hold'Em worked...
