DrawingDeadInDM 0 Posted December 29, 2010 Share Posted December 29, 2010 We had a bunch of soot blocking the vent from our furnace to the chimney and subsequently had the house filling with carbon monoxide. The basement is covered in soot, that's going to take me awhile to clean up. My brother used to work for a heating company and he and his friend are going to put in a chimney liner and give the furnace a good servicing. I'm also going to have to pick up a couple of detectors.
