Over the weekend I gave my first public performance as well.It was cool. It was fun. I was a taken aback when people clapped. I really didn't expect that so I was like "WTF" for a minute. That WTF feeling quickly turned into "THIS IS FUCKING BADASS!!!!!!!!!"Also, I'm still waiting on Courtney to get her pics off her camera because I think there's some good ones of me and Adam Hood and me and Wade Bowen on there. Adam gave me his email address and said to email him anytime and that he'd be glad to answer any guitar questions I had. SCORE! Okay Adam, then my first question is can I go on tour with you?

I had a hard time keeping them in all night. I packed the totally wrong bra for that dress.On an unrelated note though, I adore Hayley. She's a good kid. After that party at the winery that night - the night from that picture - Hayley went a little too quick on the Captain & Cokes and got sick. She's 19 so she doesn't know about pacing yourself yet. She was laying her head on the toilet saying "I've never been this drunk before." I just had to laugh and tell her "And yet, this is not the drunkest you'll ever be sweetheart." LOL

I did so now you're buying me a new one. When will it be here?Unrelated side note: Ragweed is taking a break from touring. I know that doesn't sound like a big deal but this is the same band that has played 220 shows per year for the last 13 years. There is speculation they're breaking up. That would totally suck balls. Courtney - my Ragweed connection cuz she dates their merchandise guy - said that even Nathan (the merch guy) isn't sure if it's a break or a break up. Yep, that would suck balls. Somewhat coincidentally Stillwater, OK is getting hammered with a tornado right now and even if it makes me a bad person I don't feel so sorry for them. I hold them somewhat responsible for this "break". Yeah yeah it was one guy not the whole town. Whatever. Guilty by association.

When I first checked the rate at Planet Hollywood, oh a month or so ago I guess, Thursday and Sunday were comped and we were paying $120 a night for Friday and Saturday night. I think that's what I told you when we talked on Friday.It was different when I actually booked it yesterday. So now we're going to have to pay......are you ready for this? Are you sitting down? Dave might be mad about this....Thursday and Sunday are still free...........and so are Friday and Saturday. :DOur hotel bill at Planet Hollywood is a whopping $0.00.I'm not sure why but all 4 nights are comped now. So that totally makes up for the extra $180 I spent on nonstop flights.We get in around 4pm on Thursday and we leave at 1:30pm on Monday. I did note on the reservation that there were 4 people in the room but it didn't ask me for yours and Dave's names (they already have Ozzy's because I used his Total Rewards card along with mine) so I'm not sure if you'll be able to check in before we get there or not.

I would have had free rooms or at least very cheap again this year, except my stupid Total Rewards Tier Score reset in March.. when I checked before March, I pretty much had my pick of rooms at all the casinos free and I was not enough of a degenerate gambler so far this year =/However I wish you guys would have spoken up about where you wanted to stay before we booked Flamingo.. We can still change, but last rate I had was $420 there, and that was with my and Dustin's Total rewards combined.. (Apparently he was not degenerate gambler enough either) unless I call and start trying to get them to come down on price because of my tier score that reset on me..

I didn't care where we stay and PH is close enough to Flamingo that I don't think it'll be a big deal to get over there whenever. When I saw how cheap PH was and how close it was, I was definitely staying there even if nobody else did. I think Nik intended to stay at Flamingo but when she called to see if I wanted to bunk up, I told her sure but I was staying at PH. She didn't care where either as long as it was close to everyone. So that's how that all came to be.Or maybe we're trying to get away from you. (I'm totally kidding about that. It's nothing at all like that.)Flamingo was kind of dirty last year. I don't think they'd vacuumed the hotel hallway carpet in 2 weeks.Have you looked at it again? Cause when I checked a month ago, I was going to have to pay for Friday and Saturday. I have not been to a Harrah's property in that month yet those 2 nights are free now. Might not hurt to check again just in case.
