The MTTs haven't caused a huge hit to my br or anything, and I keep winning at cash games, just tough since I pride myself on my tourney play, and I haven't been able to have any results of late. When you want to win that badly, it really sucks every time you are eliminated, especially if you are playing good poker and know that you are superior to others at your table or at least playing better. You need to get lucky in that you don't run into a cold deck, get action for your big hands and etc, things just need to fall in your favor . That's why results over a year or whatever barely matter, it's the longrun that determines how good you really are. That's why I barely play them, it'd be nice to get that big cash and boost up my bankroll to be able to play the high limits, but it's so incredibly frustrating investing 4 or 5 hrs of your time where you play your A game and concentrate so hard only to bust out on the bubble or just in the money. I'm in the same kinda streak you're in right now. I'm playing well but in the mtt's which i usually do pretty well at, i do deep and those some dumba.ss bad beat happens. Losing 23 consecutive coinflips in a row doesn't help either. Those are just from memory, i'm sure the streak is more than 23. I'm almost at the breaking point of not wanting to put all my money in knowing i'm in a coinflip situation seeing how terrible i've run in them. Link to post Share on other sites

AJ flopped a gutshot on his 1010 and went all in.But yea its pretty bad by your opponent, unless of course he could put you on a mid pp and is thus getting 2:1 on his $ even if you call and he has 10 outs.
