Just amazing what idiots do well in these tourneys, wasn't even gambling, just pissing away his chips, and of course he hits like every other goddamn idiot I play against in MTTs lately.

If losin 60/40's really upsets you, you might be in for a bad ride.
Well, it's the fact that he pushes with no pair, and an inside straight draw. Also the fact that I had a streak of 24 no cashes a short while ago, had a couple small ones, and now am on a streak of 13 no cashes. So if I'm a little pissed at losing a 60/40, I apologize.

my streak of not cashing is 35+ tournaments currently, shit happens, if you get upset each time you get knocked out of a tournament, quit playing them.
I guess I don't know if I'm just too competitive, or just angry over my late bad run, but it does get under my skin when someone makes a complete donk play and beats me I guess. The MTTs haven't caused a huge hit to my br or anything, and I keep winning at cash games, just tough since I pride myself on my tourney play, and I haven't been able to have any results of late.

I am the same way..I try to play every tournament that I play like it is the Main event of the WSOP. When you want to win that badly, it really sucks every time you are eliminated, especially if you are playing good poker and know that you are superior to others at your table or at least playing better. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't bother me throughout my day and what not but when it initially happens it burns pretty badly.

That's the nature of MTT's, no matter how well you play, the cards need to cooperate in order for you to win or go deep. You need to get lucky in that you don't run into a cold deck, get action for your big hands and etc, things just need to fall in your favor . That's why results over a year or whatever barely matter, it's the longrun that determines how good you really are. That's why I barely play them, it'd be nice to get that big cash and boost up my bankroll to be able to play the high limits, but it's so incredibly frustrating investing 4 or 5 hrs of your time where you play your A game and concentrate so hard only to bust out on the bubble or just in the money.

Yea i know what you're sayin. I'm in the same kinda streak you're in right now. I'm playing well but in the mtt's which i usually do pretty well at, i do deep and those some dumba.ss bad beat happens. Losing 23 consecutive coinflips in a row doesn't help either. Those are just from memory, i'm sure the streak is more than 23. I'm almost at the breaking point of not wanting to put all my money in knowing i'm in a coinflip situation seeing how terrible i've run in them.

Didnt matusow lose in the WSOP in that same exact spot. AJ flopped a gutshot on his 1010 and went all in.But yea its pretty bad by your opponent, unless of course he could put you on a mid pp and is thus getting 2:1 on his $ even if you call and he has 10 outs.
