Many individuals who have made mistakes in their life are able to overcome through education and rehabilitation. I would like to think that a criminal that has served their time and turned their life around would be accepted back into society with open arms!

Personally think it wont do any good. Most of the problems with the board aren't from the "newbies" it's from the Vets. Defatnly going to run into a problem where someones deleting other peoples posts just for spite or cause they feel the post isn't worthy. Some of the top posters on this site are guilty of worst things then any "newbie" on this forum.

figures that someone with 28 posts would say this, I think it depends on what you consider problems. I come to this site because I enjoy it, and because I enjoy playing poker. I flame people, and Im capable of taking the flaming, I dont see this as a problem as long as it doesnt get too personal. I think the cluttering of boards by pointless or repetitive posts is much more of a problem than flaming, and 95% of the time these pointless or repetitive posts are from noobs.

I only have 28 posts mostly cause I don't feel like getting into fights with half the people that come here. They pick fights for no reasion just cause they can. 95% of the posts on this forum has some person picking on someone els just to up there post count. Then 20 people quoting the other person.

I think steve would be a good choice, but I don't know how often he is at the site, so that would be the only problem with him that I could see. I'd also put forth Wrto, but he isn't around that much anymore.Now, I do think that Dave(allinbluff) and I would be good. Granted, we don't beat around the bush with sometimes, but, I do feel that both of us have the forum's best intrests at heart. I also think that Custom would do a good job tooSOrry teneight, but you have already been banned once and had privliages taken away, why on earth would you be a mod, I don't get that. If you were to be a mod, we might as well make any random person a mod.Daniel, I don't want to weigh in all that much on this other then putting my foot forward. But, I do think that it shouldn't be the forum's decision, its your site. This decision should most likely be made between you jayson, and chris bigler since the three of you have made the forum go since day 1

I can understand your frustration but you must try to remember that a new member is probably not aware that a topic has been discussed numerous times.

I'm not sure how many mods DN wants to have. I'm sure that MOST people would like to do it, which is fine. As I said before, I think being a mod would be great. But I don't want other people to be angry or resentful. Hopefully, those who feel like they deserve to be a mod will get their chance, if not now, then in the future. In the end, I think it should be Daniel's decision (obviously).

Custom 36 or Steve7.I say Custom over Steve7 b/c Custom plays poker primarily online, so he'd have a ton of time to devote as a moderator, and he could recognize total trash posts given his sardonic nature.Steve7 is good too. I only rule him out because he probably does not log as much time in front of the computer. He has my respect actually on the entire site as the most quality signal to noise poster. He has some insider info as well, and has the kind of respect on the site that would make FCP better overall if he were to become a more significant part of the community.My fitty cents.

I think Steve is an excellent choice. My only complaint about Steve is that he he posted about Chinese Poker and he got me hooked on the game. :)If you need a female perspective for a mod, I will be more than happy to volunteer. Thanks!
