jdwilli09 0
I have the same problem. I basically win enough live to cover my online losses, cause like an idiot I just keep pumping it back into my online accounts. I think it's just cause there are more people out there playing more hands. So, you end up getting sucked out on a little more frequently. I wish I could be one of those people who believed online poker was rigged, it would make me feel a lot better. But it makes me feel better to see someone else having this problem. schwarz269 0
are you playing the same limits live as you are online? if thats the case the online games are going to be harder. ie: a 3/6 live game will play like a .25/.50 game online
Actuary 3
online players are better, on average.I hear.

StuNami 0
I have a theory and it is mine. This is my theory - which is mine - I feel that the cards in online games are a whole more "live" than at flesh and blood tables. Personally - and let me adjust the foil hat here - I feel that the online sites have eleminated certain "boring" hands to move the mid-range pre-flop hand from Q,6 up a bit.Just my 2cents
grbs1605 0
I play much better online because its easier to play correct when you multi-table. Sitting at a B&M you get very bored waiting for decent cards, it takes much more patience playing live.

kevinoc85 0
I actually find it easier to concentrate in live games because there is nothing to distract me. When I am playing online, I really have to concentrate on the table I am playing and take a lot of notes so that I don't lose interest and stop concentrating. Maybe you should try concentrating more when you play online.

When I started by BB/100 actually went up. I attribute it to the reason that you mention. So far I have about 12K hands at 2 tables, so take it for what it's worth.
The Enforcer 0
I think there is a very simple answer to this. People who play live are playing mostly to just have a good time. Online players are trying to make money. 90% of live players dont take poker seriously. They dont read poker magazines, message boards and poker strategy books. They view poker as another form of gambling no different from blackjack or roulette. Online however, the .25-.5 tables and up are filled with players of various skill levels. The difference is that most of these online players do care. They put in many more hours of practice and study than their live counterparts. To Simplify: Online players are better and care more.
