Potomophobia 17
I just started following the news. But I must admit that I like the idea behind the Colossus Tournament. If they can handle the logistics, it should do really good things for poker. Hell, I wanna play. I hope it turns out well.

Potomophobia 17
From the WSOP website: "After four colossal starting flights, drawing around 5,000 to 6,000 entrants each, Event #2 of the World Series of Poker, The Colossus $565 No-Limit Hold'em event is heading to Day 2. " They made it through Day 1. The numbers are still being crunched to determine total entries and how many advanced. Here's a link: http://www.wsop.com/...05&dayof=142054 I'm impressed that they pulled it off without any major glitches. (As far as we know.) That's a lot of players to accommodate in a short amount of time. It will be interesting to see how this plays out and if they try it again next year. king_tanner 84
They can cap it however they want based on how many tables and dealers are available and other factors I don't think I'm going to mess with vegas knights anymore. So you don't want actions done that might increase the chances a 3x honored poker themed screenplay might get made?? I would say that is weird thinking for a poker enthusiast (that I assume you are). And, if it is bothering you, you would think an intelligent person (who is not on a character assasination mission) would simply unfollow the tweets. But you won't unfollow my tweets will you? Potomophobia 17
So depressing to see greed put an ugly finish to what started out as a exciting and innovative idea to put some life into poker. A few individuals managed to reinforce the image of poker as a shady game inhabited by corrupt people whose only goal is to fleece unsuspecting amateurs. The payout is a slap in the face to any players.

The difference is that the payout is flatter and deeper so that more money is going to the "field" and less to the final table and top finishers. It's actually a better payout structure for the average amateur who played the event. My point says nothing about the amount of juice that is going to the WSOP, that's a separate discussion. Essay21 2,385
Shouldnt that saying be he knows HOW his bread is buttered? Where is irrelevant, but how is critical. The how is everything and the how in this case is danny negs, and nobody shills for a corporation like danny negs.
