SuperJon 175
Was in a car accident today. Below is a dramatization of what happened. I'm the red car/box, and she's green. It was raining pretty hard, so I was going at least the speed limit, if not a little slower. I noticed the cars in the left lane were slowing down, so that actually made me slow down even more. By the time I saw the other person, it was too late and BAM! I personally don't think anyone is at fault, because I believe the cars in the left lane blocked each of our view's from seeing the other person. Claims adjuster is set to call me soon to clear everything up.
AmScray 355
You didn't tell us WHO was responsible. We all know what that means...
JubilantLankyLad 1,957
I think the adjuster is likely to find whoever made a road with two yellow lines responsible.
SuperJon 175
ha sorry my paint skills aren't great. there's actually no light there. the person crossing over just has to wait for no oncoming traffic.

gadjet 11
The person turning left is 100% at fault, unless it can be proven you were speeding... at least in Canada .. from what I understand of the states you should both sue each other for some sort of mental trauma and then go on Jerry Springer as a stepping stone to get on to a reality TV game show and win millions... USA! USA!

brvheart 1,747
she's green. It was the green car's fault. That's something we are all sure of.
Dubey 1,035
yeah, 100% her fault. Obscured view or not, she has to yield to oncoming traffic, and it's her responsibility to make sure the road is clear before she makes the turn.

Just spoke with my adjuster, and that's exactly what he said.
