Raymer Sells SharesThe NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship kicks off Friday at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. PokerNews will be there providing updates and video interviews from the event, and while checking out the action on the Live Reporting Page is fun, having a sweat makes it even more exciting.Greg Raymer has put up 40 percent of his stake in the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship on ChipMeUp. For $3 a share (which is 0.01 percent) you could have a vested interest in the outcome of the event, not to mention the potential of some extra cash in your pocket depending on where Raymer finishes.Read more: http://www.pokernews.com/news/2011/03/the-...s-on-c-9949.htm

I wish they gave more time for people to set up pools for brackets. Watching it live 2 years ago in the audience w/ Brad was pretty fun.

out of the Club roundScotty Nguyen last to arrive 1st to goJason Alexander Busted Annette Obrestad Busted Scotty Nguyen Busted Justin Young Busted Huck Seed Busted Tom Marchese Busted Mike Matusow Busted Eli Elezra Busted Joe Hachem Busted Chris Ferguson Busted Allen Cunningham BustedLiv Boeree was never behind in her match on the feature table against Jason Alexander. She had Alexander all in once but both players had the same hand, {q-}{j-}. A short time later Alexander was all in again -- with {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} against Boeree's {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. Alexander stood up and leaned forward over the rail. Boeree out-flopped him, {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. Alexander was bounced out of the tournament with running treys, {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.Olivier Busquet - movin' on!When you're in poker media, sometimes you geek out over the tiniest, silliest of things. Right now we're geeking out over a Round of 32 match that will pit Olivia Boeree against Olivier Busquet - Liv B versus Liv B. Busquet finally put down the pesky Dwyte Pilgrim with an all-in battle of Pilgrim's {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs} against Busquet's {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Busquet flopped a matching {10-} while Pilgrim caught nothing; he was drawing dead after the turn.

Negreanu Out of LaakPosted 2 minutes ago by ebhizzlePhil Laak practices his winner's photo.Phil Laak practices his winner's photo."No chance, had no chance," Daniel Negreanu said as he made his exit from the feature table. All the chips went into the middle on a coordinated {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop. Negreanu had already lost a few pots and was willing to risk it all with {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for top pair. He was drawing to a runner-runner miracle against Phil Laak's {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for middle set. The {2-Diamonds} was all she wrote for Negreanu, who doesn't mind since he's off to Los Angeles to play the $5k at the Bike that begins tomorrow.Laak, who prepped for success by practicing his winner's photo before the match, will play Michael Mizrachi in the round of 32.

...and Rose, Liv will be taking this down not Vanessa :-)
gg :club: Our much-anticipated Liv B. v. LivB match didn't last very long. Olivier Busquet raised, and Liv Boeree moved all in. Busquet called to put her at risk. The lovely lady had a pair of them: QdQs. Busquet may have heard that diamonds are a girl's best friend, but he was hoping his AdTd would switch the adage. He got his wish on the Kd6d5d flop. Hard to beat the nuts, and Boeree was drawing dead after the turn 9d failed to pair the board.Busquet will go on to play Jason Mercier in the next round.
