IN, but unfortunately this will be the last one for me for the next 6 months. I have mentioned before back in the fall that I had a "black cloud" over my head and it finally made an unexpected turn for the worst in January. Therefore, I have to go on "vacation" for the next 6 months starting next week. I got back into poker again about a year ago, and stumbled upon this site. I decided to play seriously and not just gamble with it like I have done for the past 10 years off and on. I really enjoy hanging out here, and am very thankful for the help that I have received. I am still a retard at the tables, but at least I see the light and have really started to understand things alot better than I ever did. Basically, just wanted to say that even though this site may have gone downhill based on content/attendance the past several years (I haven't been here that long but that's the assumption based on some of the posts), to me it is still a cool place to hang out. I look foward to being able to come back and hang out again, and hopefully not have to relearn everything over the past year. Take care everyone, and see you guys later!!

I kinda was getting that feeling too. Only problem with that turn is when they shove like that. You're hoping he has like AK with K of clubs and shoving on a TPTK with a draw and you hope you catch the BD flush, but it seems like more times than not they actually just hit it with some weak shit. But yeah, I don't blame you for not laying that one down. The next hand was just horrible. I figured after the guy shoved on my large raise, my cowboys were in bad shape, but for him to call off 2 shoves with JJ....

I agree with Ryan, its a tough spot, you really don't beat anything so you basically just have a naked ace of clubs and its alot of chips to risk on just a draw

agree with last two responses. no need to risk your tournament life here on a flush draw. some of our outs may be dead too because if he has 78cc we can't win with a 10c or 5c

I agree it's close and against some of players I could find a fold here but against this guy I leaned more towards a call, obviously since that's what I did. :-) I still think was super close even with the outs and this player. Had I not thought he was capable of shoving here on a draw or even a bluff it could have been a fold.
