Going pro is easy. Anyone telling you otherwise is just not good enough or they're lying to stop you from going pro, too.The only reason more people don't say that it's easy is because they don't want to seem braggy.Edit- Don't go pro.

Hey everyone. I'm somewhat new to the forums, have read articles for a few weeks, just finally made an account. Anyways I was wondering what would be the best way to approach tackling poker full time? I don't plan on it anytime soon, but if there is anything i could do now to prepare for that in say 2 years timewhere should i start?
I say GO FOR IT ! Life is too short to not follow your dreams ! Start small, while you have some other form of income, and start playing w/amounts that wont sting too badly if (when) you loose. When you start winning consistently......THEN start to move up the limits to make more $$$$$Best of luck & hope to see you at the final table of the WSOP one day !!!
