Zach6668 513
In unrelated news, Dubey’s team broke a near-6 year old record last night for the longest winning streak in FCHL history. 15 straight wins and counting. John and myself will now fade off into oblivion with our measly 14-game win streaks.
Dubey 1,035
State of the Franchise, January 2017 In the midst of a FCHL record-breaking 15 game win streak, what better time than now to look at the state of the franchise? It's been an incredible turnaround. After a full 2-year rebuild where we finished Last place and 3rd last place overall in 2015-16, and 2016-17 respectively, the Golden Seals find themselves at the top of the FCHL standings, with a record of 38-17-0. This success has been fuelled by an aggressive call-up strategy, as a total of 7 players have been called up from the farm so far this year: Patrick Laine, William Nylander, Mikko Rantanen, Matthew Tkachuk, Sebastion Aho, Kevin Labanc, and Zach Werenski. Additional roster help came in the form of Auction acquisitions Evgeni Malkin and Erik Karlsson, as well as Victor Hedman, who was acquired via trade. Current Main roster F - Alex Galchenyuk $2/$2/$2/$2 F - Jason Pominville $1.25/$1.25 F - Jake Guentzel $1/$1/$1/$1/$1 F - Frank Vatrano $1/$1/$1/$1 F - Andrew Cogliano $1/$1 F - Evgeni Malkin $16.25 RFA F - Patrick Laine $2 RFA F - William Nylander $2 RFA F - Mikko Rantanen $2 RFA F - Matthew Tkachuk $2 RFA F - Sebastian Aho $1 RFA F - Kevin Labanc $0.50 RFA D - Tyson Barrie $1.25/$1.50/$1.75 D - Mattias Ekholm $1/$1/$1/$1/$1 D - Hampus Lindholm $1/$1/$1/$1 D - Brett Pesce $1/$1/$1/$1 D - Erik Karlsson $18 RFA D - Victor Hedman $14 RFA D - Zach Werenski $2 RFA D - Jan Rutta $1 RFA D - 2ebastion Aho $2 RFA D - Jake McCabe $0.50 RFA D - Joel Edmundson $0.50 RFA G - Philadelphia $2.75 RFA G - Dallas $0.50 RFA The Core of this team is locked up long term, as all 7 of the farm call ups will be receiving 5 year extensions at a reasonable cost. The future and the present are both bright. We did have one misstep, as we called up William Karlsson late last season to make room on the farm and then compounded that mistake when we decided not to re-sign him to an extension before the season, and then tried and failed to acquire him for cheap at the auction. Despite pillaging the farm team this season, there is still a decent amount of depth on the farm including some elite prospects. Taking inspiration from Daniel's post yesterday, I'm going to rank my farm team, with an emphasis on upside/realistic shot to reach that upside. Farm Team 1. Nolan Patrick $2 2. Vitali Abramov $1 3. Jordan Kyrou $1 4. Klim Kostin $1 ok, I made it to 4, but I can't really decide on a ranking for the rest, so here are the rest, unranked (Bolded = currently in NHL): F - German Rubtsov F - Jeremy Bracco F - Ivan Barbashev F - Mathieu Joseph F - Joey Anderson F - Martin Reway F - Patrick Harper F - Pascal Laberge F - Danton Heinen F - Andreas Johnson F - Anthony Cirelli D - Henri jokiharju D - Dante Fabbro D - Oliver Kylington D - Darnelle Nurse D - Urho Vaakanainen D - Ziyat Paigin D - Vili Saarijarvi D - Andrew Nielsen D - Mike Rielly
Zach6668 513
Very aggressive of you to call up your 6 or 7 elite no brainer nhl scoring prospects in the same season you had like $60 for the auction. Lol. I can only think of one FCHL owner who wouldn’t have made those call ups. Hahaha.
