Fenxis 99
Mirtle says something positive about the Leafs he's a homer, when he points out the negatives he's a biased hack and slasher :|

They can admit it or not, this morning they are all VERY HAPPY as they have stuff to write about..If the Leafs lose tonight that happiness gets larger.

digitalmonkey 929
I find Mirtle and Jesse Spector to be two of the most impartial hockey guys I follow on Twitter.
digitalmonkey 929
Mirtle is very good at what he does. He knows where his bread and butter is. Doesn't mean what he's saying isn't true though. Joe Bowen mentioned the Leafs record with/without Dave Bolland during the game last night. Today, Serge is already repeating that fact/excuse/mantra. Almost everybody is biased to some degree.

Zach6668 513
I've had a good few days on Twitter. Had a post RT'ed by two influential authors in the planning/urban studies field, got a bunch of followers from that, plus one of the authors followed me back, even. They both actually also replied to me directly which led to a couple dozen favorites and more RTs of Tweets with my name in them. Then today, I took a cool pic of people playing hockey outside at Ryerson, which I tagged Buccigross in, and he RT'ed it (as he has been doing all winter for pond hockey games) and I picked up three new followers there, and another dozen RTs/favorites by random people. I'm up to 209 followers now.
Zach6668 513
Now Chris is trying to give me (an unsolicited) #FF bump and saying all sorts of nice things about me. Started with 209 followers, let's see how many his tweet can get me.
Zach6668 513
I'm bringing my Twitter into the real life world. First day of class today, I sit near the front since I'm a nerd, while we're waiting to begin, prof asks my name, I say Zach... "last name?" Henderson. "Oh ya, you follow me on Twitter," he says. "Were you really in a Taco Bell commercial?" LOL

Dubey 1,035
Maybe if I put my last name on twitter I'd have more than 40 followers. But then I wouldn't be able to bitch about the Oilers.

Holy crap, you should brand yourself an 'Oilers Insider' or something and say you're the brother of one of the players and have a ton of inside info. Then just post things like "Devan had bran flakes for breakfast" and "Taylor prefers the aisle seat". I would follow...
