Question, which may be a dick question, but needs to be asked:With a Stake Back in place, how exactly does that work? If you finish out of the money, do you still owe the stake? If so, how is this a good opportunity? The people who will need the stake probably can't afford the entry fee, so how can they be expected to pay it back? It wouldn't make sense for them to ask for a stake under such circumstances. If you finish out of the money and you don't have to pay the stake back because of that, then I can understand why people might go for it.Please clarify and thanks.

with stake back means that if you make it to the money you have to return the buy in (and split the rest of the money).EDIT: lets say you win 75$ and the buyin is 55$ ....you send back 55$ from the buy in and split the remaining 20$

I understand that part, but my question is pertains to NOT making the money: Are you still on the hook for the stake?

Oblique phraseology aside, I'll just say the answer is "If you don't make the money, you don't have to pay the stake back". If someone wishes to refute this, please do.

would it help if I said trueace is right and nobody owes me anything?
It would if I knew all your horses finished out of the money. Which is too bad...I always hope that people's horsies do well. That being said, Suited Up can eat Jariso's butt (and I mean that in the nicest way). Would you also say I was dense if I asked how a catalytic converter works? Would you feel dense if I asked and you didn't know, even though you had owned a car for years? I have little experience staking or being staked, hence my query.
