yeah, gg buddy and nice heater! But this isn't a shot at you or anything, I do agree with Donk and think you shouldn't be playing so high right now. Crush small stakes and work your way up...no one wants to see the I'm busto thread or whatever in a few months. mtts suck and have just such a high variance and then take into account that it is a turbo too. Again, not personal shot....just hope you can get some good BR management :club:

I was up over 4k from my 80 at the time i decided to play the 109 bad br maybe but it was worth the shot.

Nice little run you're having. But is it really smart to jump up to $109 tournies? Maybe you should just cash out and start lower, book the profit.
Cashed out 2k last week

Dont get me wrong i completely understand what you are saying.... it was less then 5% and $110 i didnt mind losing at the time.

yeh I guess the shot isn't horrible but I'd def prefer not to take shots at turbo MTTs out of my roll.gg
Ya i just figure its my best shot since i have built my roll primarily on turbo 45 mans with a couple mtt wins along the way so turbos are probably my best game right now. I could play an 11 dollar mtt with 20k gaur and 3000 people or take a shot on the 109 turbo with less then 300 people for 25k. I buy in for more then that at a 1/2 live game so it didnt feel like much of a risk.

would it not be better to take shots at a turbo ? less skill then a regular 109 am i rite... thoughts ? whats a proper roll to take shots at turbos 55/110s say you want to play 2 of each a week

The faster the structure, the less your edge/ROI, the higher the variance. I don't think you'll see too much of a difference in skill levels of people playing. Turbos require a slightly different skill set but most regs will be fine playing both types and the fish will suck regardless. If I was taking shots, I'd take a shot at the Million. Of if you want a little lower, the $55 200k on Sundays or $109 @ 13:00 EST. and whenever WCOOP/SCOOP/FTOPS comes around. They are really soft fields, semi-reasonable structures and the payoffs could be huge. Taking shots at medium field turbos seems silly in the long term. Much better off grinding whatever limit you are rolled for. They are great tournaments to grind once you are rolled for them - I'd say 150-200 buy ins is well rolled for mid stakes turbos.I'll add that I took a lot of shots at the Million and other majors when I wasn't rolled to play them and I didn't cash once. I had my first cash in a $110+ NLHE MTT about 3 weeks ago. I probably lost about 4-5k on those shots which was a pretty major hindrance in building a bankroll.
