I made Day 2 of the 6-max limit holdem with 18,400 chips. I played really focused all day. 98 players left Day 2 restarts at 2pm PST. I had between 3,200 and 12,000 for most of the last 4 levels and I ended with my highest chip count of the day so I'm really proud of my patience. I will be posting updates on twitter. Gl Daniel!

how are you going to play against j.c. tran and matt glantz? my advice is only play what hellmuth identifies as the ten best hands (AA, KK, AK, QQ, JJ, TT, 99, 88, 77, 66).

I had a bunch of PBR's last night. It was like drinking out of a toilet. I guess you can't beat $2 beer at a bar though.

J.C. Tran Eliminated Who said limit isn't an action game? J.C. Tran entered Day 2 with 22,500 chips and just like that, they've disappeared and he's been sent to the rail. We caught the action in a raising war on the turn with Tran committing his last 7,300 into the middle on a board reading {9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Spades}{K-Clubs}. His opponent was Kevin Hong who was compelled to call with his {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} but Tran was way out in front holding {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a flopped set. The cruel twist came on the river when the {Q-Hearts} peeled off, giving Hong the two-outer as Tran packed up his bags and headed over to the Amazon Room to jump into the $5,000 No Limit Holdem event good news for fluffdog

Glantz Can't Bluff OpponentOn a board of {7-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {5-Clubs}, a player bet into Matt Glantz. Glantz put in a raise and the player called. The river completed the board with the {5-Diamonds} and it was checked to Glantz. He fired a bet and his opponent called. When he got called, Glantz immediately mucked his hand and his opponent scooped the pot without showing his hand.nh fluffdog

Henson and Negreanu Avoid Big ClashRay Henson just avoided disaster while Daniel Negreanu may be ruing a missed opportunity after they split a pot when the board produced five clubs.Henson had flopped two pair with Kx9x and Negreanu turned a set of eights, but the fifth club on the river left both players playing the flush on board and they chopped it up.Henson has over 50,000 chips with Negreanu still battling with 25,000.
