A family struggling away on 50k PA needs a 1k rebate far more than an affluent gentlemen such as yourself. I could understand your anger if Obama was rasing taxes and utilising the funds to dole out cash to people who don't work and contribute to society, but the fact that he is promising to help out the middle class and simultaneously create new jobs via the reparation of America's crumbling infrastructure, he should gain unilateral support. I am fundamentally against a socialist government, whereby the government attempts to control aspects of people's lives in an invasive fashion: Obama is merely recognising the need for a more fair tax policy. Oh, by the way, what kind of free society prohibits its society to gamble? Is this not extremely socialistic? As a staunch supporter of Bush, do you agree with his stance on this matter?
