In a scramble format, Skill is typically not an issue. That said it would behoove you to practice at least a little , get to where you can at least hit a ball off a tee and putt relatively decent. BUT....a handicap will be issued to each player before we start, so even is you shoot 200 the calc. will make it look much better!
Ok, well I'll be their either way. I'd like to play the golf outing if there is a spot and I wont **** up everything, but if I am blocking someone else who really wants to play, not is not really a problem if I sit this one out. Either way, put me on some lists Scott. :club:

You guys are too kind, Brand comments notwithstanding. #*@%'ers! All I'm gonna say is, someone better pour a little Fiji out for yours truly on the first tee, dammit. Cuz I'm already really, really missing this and all the @ssclowns associated with it.

Nutz please put me as a definite YES for poker tournament... and definite no for golf. Thanks.

Anyone interested in lunch at a restaurant near the golf course after play? Hopefully it is a shotgun and we all finish at the same time. Im sick of golf course food. Just an idea. Possibly credit card roulette for the bill?
no group dinner this time!?
Gents-I just realize that, if this FCP thing is indeed May 31st, I will be unable to attend due to a family reunion. SUX BAAAAALLLLLLLZZZZZZZ!!!!!Scott--let me know if you want/need the legal form we all signed for the poker tourney sharing of winnings. Copernicus should have a file of it as well, if necessary, since his buddy was the one who drew it up.Chrozzo--alas, you're going to need to find an alternative for sticks, 20 slightly used golf balls and plenty of bottled water (so you don't have to search for bush-living hobos who sell it for a dollar).Wait, scratch that last item, Chroz. Someone give me a Vegas address that I can ship a pallet of Fiji water to.(Have a blast, mates!)-Pots
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Well damn, that sucks!

+1 Potsie is good people.

We could plan something? If not everyone, most of us.
Well, if he does some lunch thing at the course, we won't have time for both. I personally prefer doing something on our own rather than at the course.

It doesnt have to be the same day as the tourney. Me and Nutz will be there May 27-June 2. There will be plenty of time to schedule something.

I know, but it's nice to have the golf and tourney same day, so might as well squeeze some food in there. I vote burger bar as well.

I'm in.Only if the Burger Bar has Fiji water.edit: Scott was working on a lunch at the course, but it's probably not overly substantial (sammich, chips, beer/soda) so dinner will likely be necessary, but keep in mind he's working on the tourney for about 7pm @ hard rock. If we get back to rio at 4ish, there's not a lot of time open for dinner before the tourney. Most of us will be there for the greater part of the weekend, there's no reason we can't do a dinner on another night.

Tooooony has this aboot right. I may just pass on an official lunch thing at the course? Tomorrow I will be talking to the dude and should have everything worked out. Last year it seemed like everyone came into the clubhouse immediately after the round for a beer and what not. Time will be working against us however, and if the Poker is indeed that evening, then maybe doing a longer burger/HD lunch thing immediately following might not be the way to go, but we should all at least hang out a bit for a beer after the round minimum, hand out the ProV golf ball prizes. (oops! spoiler!)Another idea is that the bus will drop us all off at the Rio and they have a sick buffet and a good BBQ place with plenty of room for a gaggle of smelly post round hacks. But an official Brand type dinner is not going to happen unless someone else wants to put it together. The Burger Bar will be a must stop at some point obviously, but they are NOT set up for a large group. So most likely this would/could happen on a different day for sure.anyway, look for an updated (or new) thread tomorrow with all the details and hopefully prices too. :icon_cool:edit: OMG TROy! wtf??? That suks big one dude...I will at some point be asking you about the tourney disclosure info. And Hopefully some how you will still make it!

Just screw the lunch at the course. We'll figure out where to eat afterwards. If they can't handle a big group, they can handle a bunch of littles one then. If they don't like that, then some of us will go somewhere else, but still... Golf course lunch is gay.

Not sure about you but I'm pretty sure I'll be bringing a group to Firefly that night. It's also near Hard Rock. Double score.
Does the Nimbus 4000 have passenger seats?

I figured maybe we could do that after the tourney, since it might start at like 6 or 7. (Right?) Anything before that is kinda early for firefly. Unless that's what you mean.
