Kimbo Slice Vs Tank Abbott

Recommended Posts

IMO, this is going to be a fairly standard win for Kimbo.I've been a St Pierre Backer since day one, and look at him now. There is a real desire in Kimbo to prove shit to people, and especially now since so many MMA fighters say he would get destroyed by skilled fighters.well now with his training and previous power and strong chin, Kimbo is going to be the man to beat very soon.Infact, I think the only reason someone like Ortiz would even say a comment like that, is because he knows he'll never have to fight him.

Spoiler alertThat was pathetic. I'm pretty sure any fighter could have dusted Tank tonight...he looked scared, slow, and way out of shape. That said, I doubt anyone but a serious submission specialist will be able to take out Kimbo now that he's training specifically for MMA.

bas rutten said he wanted kimbo to fight 2 or 3 more lower class people before going to ufc/fighting champs.OMG BOOK IT BROCK VS KIMBO@??!

Funny thats what they said before his fight with Kimo. That ended real well for Kimo. Tank has a brazillion times more ring experience. I think this fight will be a lot closer than people think. I said that about the Super Bowl too
Yes.... thanks for playing. Now refer to my original post once again to the part where I said Tank has no business in the same cage with Kimbo. I have no idea where you get that Tank has a brazillion times more ring experience? That just is not true unless you are counting all his crappy brawls he had before the sport really took off.Yes...Tank used to be a good puncher. End of story.Round 1 .... 43 seconds... good night Tank.

I guarantee kimbo with another 6 monts of training is going to be top world competitor. only dude who I think stands a chance at keeping kimbo on the DL is Fidoreven kongo, coutour crocop who is washedup already, would get beat by kimbo. His chin is waay to strong.its sick strong. and thats what it takes in heavy weight, being able to take a bomb is probably more important than throwing them

Your crazy, a little too caught up in the hype.He has faced a pussy (submission due to punches, really?) and a guy who is washed up, when he takes on and beats a world class BJJ guy I'll be impressed. Someone is going to put him on his back, when that happens we will see what he is made out of. Until then he is just Houston Alexander 2.0.Actually I'd like to see a Kimbo/Alexander fight.

Douchey "I told you so" comments can be taken elsewhere. Thanks. And of course Tank had much more ring experience (not that it mattered). He had 22 official fights and countless exhibition and other in ring fights over the ten or so years when he was big in the sport (compared to Kimbo's 1 previous in ring fight). So while you were right that he had no business being in there with Kimbo (which isn't exactly a wild prediction that was so impressive it should be thrown in people's faces), you didn't have your facts straight. Again, you should be embarrassed to be the only person out of the 90% that took Kimbo to bother bragging about it. Think about that for a minute instead of blindly lashing out at me. I'm just trying to help you be a better man (or boy, or whatever you are).

for when that one gets taken down: http://tvshack.net/misc/Kimbo_Slice_vs_Tank_AbbottI have to say kimbo was pretty impressive in that fight but there are a lot of people in here that are giving him WAAAAAY too much credit. tank abbott hasn't been a real fighter in 10 years. I mean kimbo's got some natural talent and with the right training he could probably go a good ways, but it sounds like some of you are ready to give him a title shot and thats just silly. put him up against frank mir and see what happens.
